and actually no they aren't that much more expensive than a regular soprano, and honestly a straight soprano sounds way better, it's just the fact that a curved soprano is way easier to keep in tune.
As Hardbat said, it's a curved soprano. Personally I think they get a much better tone than the straight soprano (which to me is a flawed instrument).
