@megamanj2004X Wow sarcasm is lost on you. Someone asked if the announcer was Ernie Anderson. Tom Kennedy refers to the announcer as Ernie Anderson. So the question should have been unnecessary.

The bank building was lowered to $250 because games moved much faster since the box was now awarded to the opposing player (unless that move would lead to a win) if the question was answered incorrectly.
