Nice job. Les Paul took liberties with this Felix Arndt composition and added his own improvisations and he recorded at half-speed. My favorite version of Nola was recorded by banjo virtuoso Fred Van Eps in the late teens of the last century. He plays with a flatpick at breakneck speed.

Great performance!! You have a steady tempo and nice interpretation. Am practicing this on the mandolin by dissecting your video and Les Paul's version compared to the original score to come up with my own version. I am adding some notes in the second part to get closer to the original score. Your video is helping me develop a steadier tempo. I like the smug look of self-satisfaction at the end. It is fun to master anything so difficult and beautiful. I share your broad appreciation of music.

thanks...this is a Takamine ec132c classical. I was tore between a taylor nylon string and this guitar. This guitar has a full classical neck and the pickup system is top notch.
