  • I know they are easier to play but doesn't that mean the strings will buzz because now they will touh the frets when vibrating?

  • @CNFrostXY That is the beauty of these guitars, they don't buzz. The action is perfect, price is low, and they play smooth. A real joy to own and play. It will inspire you to play even more.

  • @bransonguitar Wow... How did you manage to do that, that is actually the amazing part, because even normal factory made guitars that cost around $3000 buzzes on certain frets, haha I'll have to go to your store someday to try it out! And how much do you sell these guitars for? And also, what are the timbres you are building these guitars with?

    Regards,

    Tom

  • @CNFrostXY Tom, In my last concert I played a piece on one of these guitars and it sounded and played great. I play mostly on my personal guitar that I completely handcrafted. If you have a $3,000 guitar that buzzes, you need to either correct your technique, which my DVD does, or have someone else adjust the action.

Also, see the details concerning the guitars at: JimGuitar(dot)com

  • @bransonguitar Hi Jim, what some of the other guitarists said is that I just need to file a bit of the fret that buzzes so that it doesn't touch the strings but I won't want to do it myself, because if it becomes too low then the next following fret will buzz! Must be hard work to make a good guitar.... But that is probably one of the many problems with factory made guitars...

  • @CNFrostXY Tom, It sounds as if your third or fourth frets on the bass side are the problem. You can move the string out of the way and tap the third fret with a hammer, not too hard, just enough to seat it back down to the fingerboard. Try the same with the fourth fret if need be.

  • @bransonguitar Ah hah! That's right, that was what one of my other friend told me, but he said I shouldn't do it myself, and I couldn't be bothered going all the way to the place I bought the guitar and fix it... Thanks for the tip, I'll go to the guitar store and fix it up since now I am very free!

    Regards,

    Tom

  • @bransonguitar In fact it is only the second fret (Fsharp under normal tuning) of the 6th string on my guitar that buzzes... only one fret and only a little but still quiet annoying...
