Extremely well said @themanfromwyoming could've said it better...I mean I do have sympathy for the russians...but sometimes their own tactics got them killed..but it did take a alot of balls though...but even then they we shot if they tried to retreat and a only given maybe 10to 20 rounds of amuniton. I believe they only beat the germans back into germany was because of the russin winter and their superior man power which they wasted in some of there bigger battles.

well, most people seem to think that way. However, I thought it was pretty damn good. The gameplay isn't fail IMHO. I actually liked it. It's pretty much like any typical shooter. There are some features though, like grappling an opponent and instantly killing him or take him hostage. Graphics aren't too great, but that's really my only complaint. My advice is to go check it out yourself and decide.

good, but given that it's 1953, the back story of this would have to be completely different from history as we know it, the nazis wouldve had to have either won the european campaign continuing from 1945 or the US lost. and now the nazi's are going after the mainland. this fails at covering that issue i beleive. it wouldve been better if this was set in the mid forties to early fifties. it could pass as a continuation of the war if germany for some reason had not been destroyed by 1945.

The British did very well, but were getting beaten badly before we helped tipped the scales. Even with VERY little and support reinforcements due to Hitler's focus on Russia and the "Final Solution", Rommel managed to severely wreck their shit in North Africa.

The main problem with the U.S. I'd imagine is that we were sitting across the pond, so it was far more of a pain in the ass for us to mobilize our troops in Europe compared to a European country.

Despite all of this stuff I've been listing, I recommend a book called "How Hitler Could Have Won World War II". It does a good job of pointing out all of the huge advantages Hitler had that he wasted due to being fucking insane.

Hitler was a perfect example of y dictatorships never last. even with the most powerful army in Europe and most of his own nation and others under his thumb, in addition to an alliance with a close neighbor and one with Japan, he blew it. Actually dirigeables were very popular at the time and it would take more than a guy shooting at it with a pistol to bring it down. Anyway this game takes place 6 years after when ww2 would have been over. So this is technology and the army they could have actually had if things in real life would have played out as they did in the game.

Blimps are NOT effective weapons. How would you use a blimp effectively? Any fool with a machine gun, if not a pistol, could blast a blimp to bits. I'm sure that 7 years after WW2, there would be better weapons than blimps.

Well It is a game and can take creative liberties. But it isn't like they just sent blimps into the middle of a battle field in the game either they were used to patrol areas and during the original invasion to drop in paratroopers. Plus to my recollection of the game they weren't that hard to destroy anyhow.

Soviet sources claim higher, some as much as 25 million, however these ones should be treated carefully as the Soviet government has a habit of exaggerating and decreasing casualties when it suits them. eg, Stalins invasion broadcast a few months after the german invasion "Over 4 million germans have been killed and victory is near"

What happened at Pearl Harbour was pretty bad, I have been there and spoke to some veterans of the attack, but all in all, Russia and Germany suffered far more than the United States during the war, both in terms of casualties and destruction to cities and property.
