It's a new documentary that will be out in January about the racist profiling illegal immigration bill SB1070 and stars Joe Arpaio. It looks really interesting and has real facts, real inmates, and real senators. Please share the link!
She missed a couple of opportunities to really go after Arpaio. When he said he had "a few complaints", mention that there were 2700 lawsuits filed against him between 2004 and 2007. When he says he's "just enforcing the law", go into how everything he does is political, including arresting activists who speak out against him and investigating and tracking donors of his political opponents.

Arpaio is once again posturing, shading the truth of the matter, and sadly it continues to work with many of my fellow Arizona citizens. The issues of illegal immigration are far larger than Arpaio's bluster implies. As for "doing his job", he needs to check his badge and realize it doesn't say INS.
Arrested/detained 38,000 - many of the arrested/detained illegally through round -ups of brown-skinned people. He has costs us 10's of millions of dollars in lawsuits found VALID by juries. Why don't you do your job, Sheriff Joe, like bringing inmates to Court as per their constitutional rights. Or like making sure the expensive buses and other "necessary acquisitions" are obtained per regulations. Or how about ensuring medical care is provided to those in jail. What about those warrants too.

Joe did not arrest all 38,000 of those illegal aliens, but he did detain them using ICE rules once they were arrested by other agencies (like illegal alien loving Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon who wanted 1070 to be vetoed).
@genjackoneal1 The bus that you talk about, why you dont go read other articles other then the new times or the Arizona republic I can give you a few places to start, first read county rules online about procurement, then read the laws that created the fund he used to purchase the bus. You will find that the board of supervisors and their procurement regulations dont apply to that fund and neither does the sheriffs decision to purchase the bus.

Ultimately the board of supervisors is reasonable. They created the entity that is responsible for the proper medical care of in custody inmates. When Joe told them that there were problems and so did the feds the board of supervisors failed to act.

The woman loves to hear herself speak. I've never seen anyone jump on so many bandwagons...hoping that one will end up being her ticket to political fame and fortune.
