  • oh God this woman should kill herself - save some carbon!

  • COal is too damaging tothe environment since the companies are doing Mountiantop removal to get it.

  • It's sad when a local B.C. electric car company (Dynasty Electric Vehicle Limited) is able to sell more vehicles to Florida then all of Canada combined. It's legal in 47 states and only 1 province.

  • The Pentagon receintly concluded climate change is the biggest threat to political stability in the years to come so how the hell are these" climate gate " delay tactics by fossil fuel revenue depedent governments able to go on unchallenged!

We need an announcement ASAP by us energy sec. Steven Chu, Al Gore ,Dr Hansen to clear up these stolen ipcc emails and put the matter to rest once a d for all!

  • I will go to the streets

  • It's a scam. Wake up people. The elite created a fake problems so you will beg them to do something. Now they are going to tax your every breath. FOOLS!!!

  • Huffington Post is silencing all global warming dissent in their comment section. Over 400 messages have stood "pending approval" for hours! Pass this news on. Take screen grabs. Are we still in America?

  • move forward, move forward...

I don`t get why she use the economists slogans all the time

  • She sounds like certain commentators before the Iraq War who thought that the protest movement would be enough to stop the United States from invading. Enacting change is not as simple as she makes it out to be.

  • Completely agree with you blackiron. What the hell's she playing at? Lip service is lip service. It looks like she's just trying to push her own agenda of getting Canada off its ass.

  • 3:40 Is a complete lie - More people have actually been fed do to 'global warming'. The increase in CO2 and Temp has increased crop production around the world.

Ah... Japan HAS TO invest in electric cars - they are overpopulated - Why should Canada suffer the restrictions of a densely packed megatropolis? Give me a break.

It is apparent this woman is bent on her own agenda regardless of the facts, truth or reality.

This is what is wrong with opposition - both are extremist with agendas.

  • @PsyogiBottoms

So what if I told you that when taken in total, increased CO2 can actually significantly decrease crop production.

As proven by many peer reviewed physical science journal studies.

    tinyurl (dot) com/qkqc6z

  • I'd suggest to you that you go back and investigate the facts for yourself rather than getting your knowledge from videos or TV.

The only thing proven is that crop production increased - steadily - since 'global warming' began - more areas have fertile land now, milder climates.

CO2 is the basis of all life on this planet - it is hardly a pollutant or toxin. Its CARBON (your based on it) and Oxygen. Period. Nothing dangerous there.

People forget - there were no plants on Venus and it closer

  • @PsyogiBottoms

You do realize that in that video, it is constantly referencing peer reviewed physical science journals, right?

Where does your "proven" come from?

    Also, let me ask.

Over the past 40 years. Has increasingly less infrared radiation been escaping into space?

    greyfalcon. net/ greenhouse

    It's a simple question.

  • @PsyogiBottoms

Hah, checked your profile really quick.

I hadn't thought you were that naive.

A fake petition together by a tobacco lobbyist, and a conspiracy theorist at a medical institute, with zero background checks on credentials.

You actually find that sort of thing to be compelling?

    greyfalcon. net/ oism

    greyfalcon. net/ oism2

  • Well it sounds like you have all the answers, I'm sure you have done your research. I have actually read a book or two on the subject and don't get all my education from the TV and Internet.

Its scientifically logical - more CO2 increases plant size and production. They have used this in greenhouses for years (CO2 Generators ...look it up) and prehistorically there was an enormous amount of extra CO2 in the air which is why Dinosaurs grew so large as did everything.

Ah, it CO2 didn't kill them

  • If you actually look at the real science, not the lies and BS put out by the 'Carbon Tax' profiteers.

If you were talking about any other element than Carbon and Oxygen I'd say sure. But excess CO2 is the big crime supporting global warming? Bullshit.

yeah, its warming...we are also moving away from an ice age... duh... that's how it works.

The impact they are talking about wont even take effect for 800 years - look it up.

I wish more of you 'activist' actually read. Haven't you learned?

  • this chicks still asleep thinking the Elite of the world is going to (help) people hahaha come on sleepy. policy policy shhhhut up plz.

  • HORSE-SHIT.

    Yours truly,

    an environmentalist.

  • Good article in the Wall Street Journal today by Richard Lindzen today. Please interview him- listen to the other side for a change.

  • @loai050

Wall Street Journal opinion page again?

Probably more of the usual stuff you get from Lindzen.

    greyfalcon. net/ lindzen.png

My guess, straw man arguments, and ad hominem arguments. And a whole host of other logical fallacies.

    Like usual.

  • Unlike you, I don't think the debate is finished and I'm willing to listen to both sides. I'm all for clean air, oceans etc but I have little trust in anything Al Gore drives- wasn't it he that drove the tobacco lawsuits in that shakedown ? This is another shakedown- carbon tax. BOTH sides are having money thrown at them. With the e mail revelations showing some very unscientific actions we need to re-open the debate.

  • @loai050

The catch there, as evidenced by your article published in the OPINION section.

This isn't a scientific debate of evidence versus evidence.

This is a sophist debate of rhetoric versus rhetoric.

That's why "skeptics" almost always refuse to reference peer reviewed physical science, and instead publish on blogs, opinion pages, and talk shows.

That's not an scientific debate at all.

    greyfalcon. net/ reality.png

    greyfalcon. net/ tobacco3

  • About the email revelations: practically all relevant data is available, source data, most calculations. I don't know what the dumbasses were pulling, but it's probably some clumsy arm-twisting when the denialists actually got a paper past them. It's probably unethical, but it doesn't mean we should give the denialists precisely the floor they need, cos they'll run with it-- you mention tobacco, yup it's precisely these same think tanks that claimed smoking was healthy, despite evidence against

  • Are you a crack head? Is everyone on crack these days? Stop talking about deniers vs warmers and look at the objective science of it all. Science is about skepticism!!!!! The current climate experts acknowledge there are flaws in their science and yet have spend the last 20 years preventing skeptics from helping revise their theories. This has unfolded into an authoritarian movement that silences dissent. That is not science. We're set back 20 years because of that.

  • Watch greenman3610's videos for refutations of whatever points you may have. But I suspect your disconnect with reality is even more tenacious, since clearly you've concocted a conspiracy theory that tellingly links the temperature spike (wrong number of years, by the way) with some grand conspiracy between hundreds and hundreds of disparate scientists. Science *is* about being wrong, *and* recognising when someone else is spouting utter bullshit. Whatever it is you want to do, don't bother me.

  • Historically speaking those spouting what the scientific community identifies as utter bullshit has turned out to be scientific fact (meteor showers, atomic energy, evolution, to name 3 out of hundreds). Paradigm shifts happen and sometimes the house needs to be cleared to reestablish an objective point of view. And I'm referring to when GW theory became widely accepted as fact (ie about 20 years ago, resolving the climate wars and signing the Koyto protocol). Examine your assumptions please.

  • Look, this is all very nice, but do you live in a lowlying, tropical country? I do. You fucking psycho. You clearly were not here for the hockey stick. That's your problem. If you want to comment carry on, just don't reply to me.

  • @loai050

And while we did we some lack of transparency in those emails. 2 peer reviewed suppressed papers from broad attention, and a better version of some code suppressed.

I didn't see anything which had to do with altering our understanding of the actual science.

Did you perhaps see something I didn't?

  • Paul Jay interviews another bullshit artist.

    Show the OTHER SIDE, Paul.

    CLIMATEGATE

  • Thats not true! Its the aliens are the ones who forced us to Iraq. The aliens have been behind a lot. Honest fact.

  • Thanks for the news channel. The channels effectiveness is evident in the number of negative comments posted here.

I don't know who these text commentors work for, but these people must have had some truly horrible childhoods.

  • hogwash

  • this lady is an unwitting tool fo the globalists.

she is basicaly begging for tyrants to make all of her decisions for her and to invade and take over her life in every way.

she is smart but also gullible.

  • Hi Diatonic

This is hard to be sure, she either does know what she's doing or she doesn't. She certainly didn't give any verifiable evidence for GW disasters she quoted. She's either a gullible idiot with a big ego or she's a psychopath.

Paul Jay seems to be buying into this shite too. Maybe he thinks the debate is over as well.

"Our leaders... our decision makers... the elite... What a load of childish bollox.

It's probably too much to ask for these mouthpieces to grow up a bit. - Pity.

  • the evilest propaganda i've watched on youtube on global warming are greenman3610's videos. I think it's quite convincing, you should check it out. It might brainwash some sense into global warming denialists.

  • And as for the data: google "Global warming driving population displacement, report says". That has some data, but it's not the data she's using, I think. The very idea that she should be providing a bibliography on a short ten minute interview is laughable.

  • Yes - you're right. I only watched one of the videos you suggested. I do appreciate the huge irony on the guy's channel though. Thanks.

Sorry I didn't do the google search yet.

Providing a bibliography on a 10 min interview is, as you say - laughable. (I'm not sure why you mentioned it but you are right I think).

Thanks for putting me right. I feel better now.

I'm not sure why you seem to suggest that brainwashing people is a good thing.

I'm happy for you to say it of course.

  • Logic is a kind of brainwashing, after all. You can have a person accept a=b, and b=c, but not a=c. I am very interested in why you find his channel ironic.

  • so you're saying that your sense was brainwashed into you, raja?

  • How very intelligent of you.

  • answer the question raja.

    are you brainwashed?

  • haha. You paranoid fuck.

  • If there anyone entity that would be against climate change, it would be corporations... all this bs about its a scam, these emails... I dont think its as bad as they say, but change is happening.

I just hope they dont put the cost on the poor.

  • I don't have any teeth!!!!!!!

  • amm and what am I suppose to do with that piece of information?

  • The left loves this global warming scam because they like all the big government solutions to it, and they think it will bring down the corporations, well, they're right about part of it, it will mean big government, but it's not going to bring down the corporations, they're going to make more money from this cap and trade scam.

  • Oh yeah, the left LOOOOVES global warming.. It's not like it's genuine concern or anything!

Back to pundit school, little boy.

  • there's a good reason why ken lay is the grand father of the cap and trade scam, and enron support for the Kyoto agreement, it's the same reason Goldman Sachs is part owner of the company that is going to be the place where carbon gets traded.

I used to buy into this MMGW stuff, but have now seen the light, it's junk science, and it's being peddled by a bunch of commie scum bags to push through there huge nightmare centralized bureaucracy which will help them hoover up more cash from us.

  • buy into? it's demonstrably proven.

take the tin-foil hat off, man. you're doped up on the CRAZY.

  • What is MMGW please?

  • Yes, and the leftist solar-energy farms are SO POWERFUL that they forced the most strongest government to invade Iraq for their benefit.

Wait.. no no it was an oil company.... the same who actually financed anti- man made climate change-campaigns. They are powerful as you see, and you are a victim of them.

  • wrong, in reality just the other week Exxon mobil's chief executive was bemoaning the fact that the cap and trade bill in the senate doesn't go far enough, most of big oil are fully behind the push for a carbon tax, so are the big banks .... well, of course they are deerrrrr.

  • @HuxleyWasRight

Well, if greenhouse induced global warming is directly empirically observable.

    greyfalcon. net/ greenhouse

And reducing carbon in the atmosphere would counter-act that.

But it would cost some serious money to deal with it.

What would be an appropriate way to pay for it?

    greyfalcon. net/ milton

    _

The problem I think you're having is that you're mistaking Anarchist principles, for Libertarian principles.

When they aren't actually the same.

  • Most of big oil are now on board with man made global warming, so are the banks such as goldman sachs, the "capitalists" (fake capitalists fascists) you all hate have lined their ducks up and and they're going to hoover up more cash from this scam.

as Orwell said, it doesn't matter how they do it, but they have to make sure people don't have money and wealth, if that means literally taking people money and produce and dumping it in the ocean so be it, this MMGW is just another way of doing it.

  • after 20 years of fighting the green movement, oil companies start using the color green and you use that as evidence that they are siding with the environmentalists, how pathetic of an argument. there is a lot george orwell was right about, but you on the other hand are not. cap and trade will not work but global warming is real. I think it blows peoples mind when they find there are people who accept man-made global warming as fact but not carbon tax as the solution.

  • @dakusahab

Well then, if charging money for economic damages isn't allowed, then what would be an appropriate solution?

    Draconian command-and-control regulation?

  • top 5 causes of global warming are - coal to generate electricity, vehicle emissions, meat production, fertilizer use, deforestation. these 5 causes basically account for 95% of all co2 emissions. first the government should stop subsidizing corporate agriculture in USA, these will make food more expensive but also means less taxes, and it will show people that without subsidy, organic is actually cheaper. similarly each of the other 4 need to be addressed in their own way.

  • Nonsense. They are all serious environmental problems, true, but have nought to do with (ahem) global warming.

  • America has made education so expensive that most Americans have become morons, simple mathematics and science that would allow them to differentiate and understand science from corporate propaganda is missing. i guess the only solution for denial is a good dose of reality, like a civil war between liberals and conservatives, so that afterwords people begin questioning why they are fighting each other.

  • @dakusahab

    Well for instance,

Do a tax at the point of wholesale of Mined Coal, Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Fertilizers, and Lumber.

    And then call it done.

    _

    That said,

I just don't see however, how the market (A price setting mechanism) is supposed to deal with pricing economic damages, if there's no cost associated with those damages.

  • allowing wall st to trade anything always breeds corruption and mis-management. they will make cap and trade into a derivatives game.

  • @dakusahab

Oh I agree with you there on the speculative trading.

The catch there though, a direct tax would avoid all that.

  • I used to look at these environmentalists with awe, than with sympathy, than with curiosity, than I began to question these people than I realised how misinformed they are than I realised that the elites know that its a scam and are tricking the people to believing their bullshit agenda's,now I look at them with h8.

  • everyone is an environmentalist including you. some people believe as long as their house is comfortable, they don't need the rivers, forests, farms, etc. others realize everything is connected and drying rivers in India mean higher food prices, cutting forests mean less wildlife, meaning less healthy ecosystems and increased chances of collapse. not everyone in green community is for carbon tax or big government, in fact most are for states rights aka localization. but global warming is real.

  • Ofc global warming exists, its December and im freezing! xD

  • Conservatives are so stupid that they find winter a discovery every year.

  • Again, the Malthusian policies being contemplated to reduce the supposedly ruinous rate of anthropogenic greenhouse gas release are truly frightening. The RealNews just does not get it.

  • what world are you living in? the Malthusian collapse is already here. we're just trying to make sure we have some sort of safety net left for those children that make it. 8.5 million people have lost jobs in two years and a further 9 million are forced to work part time, meanwhile extra 5 million people joined the labor force. capitalism is long gone, corporatism has taken over the world. multinational corporations rule the world, money = power, and the rich are richer then ever.

  • Thanks for the reply. I was trying to be optimistic.
