  • if I was you I would tension the chain mate

  • take the spark arrester out of the muffler thats what i did to my 192T climbing saw and it has lot my power to it now

  • it looks like your chain needs to be tieten.

  • you should tighten the chain

  • your a fool for running it with the chain that loose.

  • it runs a little rough and the chain needs tightened

  • chain needs tightened

  • those chains are way too loose! on all your video's man. dont get hurt, tighten those chains.

  • hey snipoman im well ware of what you need fella i do tree work for a living im an Arborist. And i have my cs30.1,30.2.31,32,33,38,49 and 41 also got my wood chipper aswell fella :)

  • your chain boy.

  • 500 dollar arborist climbing saw not for everyone

  • ain't that for sure

  • little too much slack on the chain

  • how did you get a professional arborists chainsaw when you dont even trim trees? oh and by the way, top handle chainsaws are much more dangerous than a normal one.

  • by the way your chains to lose

  • its good to have the chain a bit loose because the velocity at high rpms makes the chain become tighter against the bar

  • no it really is not the guided amount is so that you can pull the chain upwards and you should not be able to see the bottom of the drive links, it can also cause hammer damage to the bar and damage to the sproket.

by the way im a professional tree surgeon and the infomation was passed on to me by certificated chainsaw operaters like myself so always consult a professional.

  • I disagree. Once the chain starts rotating, it is pulled tighter.

A little slack is good and will not wear out the bar or create unnecessary friction for the engine.

  • It might not be a good idea to rev it to high ( or at all ! ) with the chain that loose. I'm sure you knew. I'm just commenting on what I see in the video.

  • i agree bud

  • In your dscription. you say the reason its smoking is the chain oil .. I woud say its smoking because it's a two-stroke engine. my two cents

  • 12inch bar is much better for the 02, if u need more length use a bigger saw

  • hi thats a 35.4 cc engine in it and it isnt actually like a normal chainsaw engine the piston does not move up and down. the piston is actually lying flat inside the engine. Also these saws should only be used BY CERTICFICATED QUALIFIED ARBORIST'S WHO WHOLE NPTC CS 38 AND NPTC CS 39. These saws are none ground chainsaws only used up in a tree. Im a tree surgeon and use these every day thank's

  • Thanks for the info!

  • you also need a cs30.1-cross cut and a cs30.2-Maintenance without thses licences you should really not be using these tools and should leave it to the professionals.

  • what kind of engine??? like cc?

  • I think it has a 29cc engine. I'll take a look at it and let you know.

  • hey, it's a 35.4cc.

  • @DanielJaegerFilms I didn't think that was you for a minute there this doesn't look like most of your videos.

  • You better tighten that chain.

  • It won't harm the chain until I cut something. I was just finished putting a new chain on, and I wanted to get a quick video in.

  • just saying it was very loose. A chain installation isn't complete until it is tight. Come on, it only takes 40 seconds.

  • Yeah, I know. But it's good you pointed that out, it shows you know your stuff.

  • =D yeah. I try to keep mine at correct tightness all the time. My chain is still stretching some, so I gotta tighten it every now and then.

  • that might not be your chain i would look at your bar adjuster and see whether it slips or is loose as this will cause the chain to slaken

  • it will cause damage to the chain, bar and the sproket.

search online for hammer damage on chainsaws you may find this helpfull
