  • What are the 2 holes on either side of the esophageal tube ?

  • @hotgluegunfun1 They aren't holes, they are called pririform recesses, food or small particles can get stuck in those little pits occasionally stimulating a tickling or scratchy sensation being felt by the internal laryngeal nerve.

  • whats at the beginning? like the first few seconds, it doesnt even look like it went in your mouth, you can even see letters.

  • I honestly have no idea. I'm just the patient haha

  • Amazing. I would like to be able to see where the camera is relative to the outside. Can the camera make it all the way down into the alveolar ducts and sacs (terminal generations?)?

  • its a bronchoscopy, there is no sound

  • why do i have no sound?

  • wow this IS interesting really i hope you get better with the time or at least feel better thanks 4 sharing this with people

  • Actually the saline does need to be sucked up because it is in my lungs, and if they didn't suck it up I'd be coughing like crazy trying to get the liquid out of my lungs.

  • The saline does not need to be sucked up, it is absorbed by the body :)

  • Haha, that's saline. (salt water) so I guess they washed it out then sucked it all out.

  • I bet you felt better after they got all that junk outta your system!

Now, are they "vacuuming" out the mucus or are they actually washing it out, because it almost looked like they were using soapy water at some points.
