This is real. Happened June 8th, 1995. I work at that prison. You can only see the top half of this tornado because the bottom half is in a creek bottom about half a mile behind the prison. June 8, 1995. You must be young. If you are 18, you would have only been about 5 when this happened. It tore up the Borger Highway/Price Road area.... jumped up and over the majority of town, then came down again following Red Deer Creek on the other side of the Country Club. Remember, this is shot from south of the Jordan Unit, you can only see the top half of the tornado because it is on the ground in the valley north of the prison....  A Horrific monster, the sound is real!

That Tornado was not in Hoover, Tx. That prison is the Jordan unit in Pampa, Tx. That was an F-5 tornado that hit that town June 8, 1995. Nice video though.

It may have been an F5, you just don't know until you get on the ground. Generally, what I look at is that very well defined cone structure that doesn't tend to change as it moves. Those are monsters that you want to watch for.
