Nha, it wasn't todo with his boxing, he said so himself too. Others that are mch weaker have had much more sever beatings. He was to get Parkinsons even if he wasn't a boxer. It was written.

1 - some say he said he was God, if thats true then God messed him up and this is punishment.

2- "Smokin" left hook Joe frazier and George foreman, Ernie Shavers and many more including Larry holmes gave him a tough time.

3- Parkisons disease, if its in the family hes likely to get it.

4 - he had it comming?
