Establishment archaeologists are liars. "Forbidden Archaeology" makes sense, not this "media" crap. These skulls have very mysterious origins, not polishing and filing. Yup, NG is a disinformer channel.

Their assumption was that because the modern world hadn't long known how to use such tools as grinding stones, no other civilaization or indeed group of people from Earth ever had either. The object shown, or the Crystal Skull from Eugène Boban shop, is a 1880's replica of an older & original object located in Paris at that time, related to a real & old artifact known as "the skull of St.John the Baptist". The Ummayad Mosqué in Damascus had also another unusual crystal object. Arabs were specialists in rock crystal pre the 8th century. Read the NYTimes 1881 - the exhibit & dispute for 2 skulls / relics by French monasteries. Boban "branded" a replica, but there is an original !!

There is a SCFI Channel that has a similar documentary, but is it solely based on the belief that this Skull (and others) are going to save the world from 12/21/12 Armageddon. Thank you National Geographic for looking at it scientifically.

I watched the new National Geographic documentary last night, where they had a modern replica made. What really stood out for me was that when comparing the two under the electron microscope. The old skull had a much higher and smoother level of finish than the replica.

Considering the limited tools they had in the early 1900's it must of been made by aliens ;) or someone spent a very very long time perhaps many years working, to get it to such a high standard.

Amazing piece of Art though.
