  • Ace is FUCKING on FIRE on this album. Totally dialed in.

  • THIS IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD. That is what I said in 1991. I still say it now.

  • peter criss should have got a famous paul stanley shout out!.

  • Greatest LIVE Rock album of all time.

  • this is one of the best drum solos ever

  • @saraxbaybee1234 I second that. Always love this solo. I think it inspired allot of wanna be drummers.

Its absolutely one of the GREAT drum solos.

  • I walked through a snow strom to hear this album...And it sucked....I have been a KISS fan ever since...Seen them a least 15 times...And now my Grandson is a fan...KISS this...\m/

  • Why wouldnt you upload the full song in one vid?

  • @ledzepSCOTT12 Ahh sorry just answered my own question.

  • GREATEST ROCK ALBUM OF ALL TIME!!!

  • Peter Criss rocks the house!

  • awesome

  • Almost fuckin 40 years ago.....i remember getting the album!!

  • @Killer0fTheSun lol yea, I remember too... I was 14yrs old (1976), in a boarding school (like 2th. grade in highschool), and the guy responsible for our dormitory was playing this on the speakers of the entire room, every evening before shutting down the lights, can you imagine! Thats how I discovered KiSS...

Was that 40 yrs ago already?

  • This might be the best KISS has ever rocked

  • God dam, there is so much in this!

We didn't need "video clips" with this; you pumped up the volume, closed your eyes, and you were there...

  • best live song i ever heard

  • really feels like being at a concert

  • Two words:

    Ace Frehley

  • totally love Criss's drum solo! it allways goes over and over and over on partys!!

    Peter Criss in my <3

  • YOU GO PETER CRISS!!!! THE MAN WHO INSPIRED ME TO BECOME A DRUMMER :O

  • I dont care what anyone says you listen to this and they are ALL FUCKING DIALED in on this. Ace in the middle of that solo is just so in the groove. You feel it, you know it. Peter's solo on this is simply legend. This is one of my favorite Kiss tracks.

  • drum solo.... EPIC!

  • I think it was this solo that made allot of guys want to be drummers. The energy in this is just endless. Its not supremely complex but he just keeps it going for so long and it is so varied. A classic

  • @roquefortfiles ....... U are so right ! ! !

  • BEST DRUM SOLO ON THE UNIVERSE!!!!

  • One of the best drummer's is Peter Criss I don't give a fuck what anyone say's.

  • ..... bad ass concert back in da day, they put on an awesome show, in the big "D" ! ! ! !

  • i have been a big fan of peter criss for many years, he may not be the worlds greatest drummer, but at least he has paid his dues and has not been given the proper respect that he is overly due by so many. i just wish that people out there would realy stop for a minute and take a look and listen to what peter has to say about his music and how he views life. a lot of people just may learn something about the man him self

  • i would like to say that it is not fair that there is a lot of people out there putting peter criss down and makeing fun of his drumming. before a lot of people out there started to play the drums a lot of them looked up to peter criss as some one that they wanted to be like playing the drums, now i hear a lot of them say that thay are better than peter criss. instead of thanking peter criss for inspiring them to want to play the drums all they can do is make negitive comments about the man.

  • seen this song live in Atlanta georgia several times when they first started in the 70's all their songs were awesome, only rock n roll around to save us from disco rock on Kiss oh and BTW i won every year on halloween painted up and dressed like gene simmons and had his dragon boots replicated on my roller skates the 70's so fukn ruled

  • That is an awesome song, and a bitchy drum solo.

  • It was always funny because Stanley sounds like he's shouting "Peter Criss on the drum" and not drums.

  • Peter Criss uses more rhythm and style, instead of noise and speed, in his drumming.

  • PETER CRISS SUCKS. BOO!!!!

  • i remember my dad putting this TAPE in when i was like 6, listened to the whole thing driving to the river over and over, and everytime 100,000 years came on, i fucking hung on every second of the solo. peter criss is amazing, and so is this solo. yea its easy, but back then, it was awesome. it feels good to hear it now too, kiss was the first rock band i ever heard in my life. everything from detroit rock city to psycho circus i had memorized by i was like 12, so hell yea, go pete.

  • This drum solo is not even remotely good. "watch?v=I2VYKgFBH3A" is a good drum solo.

  • DUDE!!!! ....you can't compare Peter Criss to Billy Cobham - it's like comparing Bun E. Carlos to Buddy Rich ;o)

  • @davizm This is a classic drum solo what are you talking about??

  • @roquefortfiles - yes and I am a BIG Peter Criss fan (one of the main inspirations when I was learning to play drums) but comparing Peter to Billy Cobham?!?! ....even Peter Criss would say "that's one bad ass musician!"

and yes Bun E. Carlos was a bad ass too but come on!

  • @davizm You play the drums and you're fond of Peter Criss?? Weird. I play the drums and I think Peter Criss is one of the lamest drummers in rock and roll history. Right up there with Lars Ulrich and Ringo Starr.

This was one of the LAMEST drum solos I've ever heard.

"Even Peter Criss doesn't want to be Peter Criss"

    -Peter Griffin, Family Guy

  • @anotherdrummer23 LMAOOOO the family guy. Even the 50's rock and roll band Bill haley and the comets had a better drummer than Peter Criss. Peter is just a lazy uneducated white kracker

  • @char675 he isnt good and youre a nigger. word

  • @anotherdrummer23 Well said!! LMAO!!

  • @anotherdrummer23 - every one is entitled to their own opinion but it takes someone really obtrusive and self absorbed to run over a total strangers opinion. Thanks for having as little social skills as you do musical skills behind the drums ....keep posting those vids, they are funny in a sad kinda way

  • @davizm Ok, a couple points: 1) I was simply disagreeing with you. I don't even know what it means to "run over a total strangers opinion." 2) Online interaction is in no way indicative of a person's social skills. That's just plain silly. 3) Its hard to take your opinion about my drumming seriously given the origin of this back and forth. And you can dislike it til your blue in the face, at the end of the day, I know I'm better than Peter Criss..... 4) Thanks for the laughs!!

  • @anotherdrummer23 - I'm not asking you to value my opinion of your skills (I don't give a shit) but I guess being a better drummer doesn't net you the millions of dollars or fans he made touring around the world all those years not to mention people around the world KNOW who Peter Criss is and will NEVER know who the hell you are but being popular with your little click is important I guess ....carry on

  • @davizm You are right, everyone KNOWS who Peter Criss is, he's the PUNCHLINE from KISS! And the millions of dollars and fans are because of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons. Put a painted cat face on any rhythmic lesser primate and you've got a Criss replacement. And you should NEVER say NEVER. Especially when you've got no idea the force that you're trying to reckon with. THE SOUND'S SPREADING THROUGH TOWN, LIKE SONIC GROUND AND POUND. A TREAT TO EVERY EAR!!!

...carry on? Oh, I will, man, I will.

  • @anotherdrummer23 "the force that you're trying to reckon with" LOL ......I thought those cheesy ass lines were only used by the likes of Corey Feldman in bad after school movies but it seems like par for the course with you. Keep drumming - less speaking - you might as well be good at one of them.

  • @davizm Who's speaking? I'm typing... Not to correct your grammar or anything... And as a KISS fan, I thought you'd appreciate a cheesy ass line. I mean, KISS made more money than god selling cheesy lines, make-up, blood and FIRE! All I'm sayin is that the guy from Uranium Belt makes Peter Criss look like an amateur... Also, this drum solo makes Peter Criss look like an amateur.... Also, golf isn't very metal.....I'm just sayin.....

  • @anotherdrummer23 WOW!!! Uranium Belt as in this ---> watch?v=FCYVaTNffBk

I had a response for you until I researched this group ...never mind / have a nice life

  • @anotherdrummer23 Oh joy, another lamer is dissing Peter Criss.

Tell ya what, punk, how about you post your shit on here so we can all hear it.

And after we find out just how badly you suck, we'll rip you a new asshole for you to shove your head up into.

    Do we have a deal?

  • @blorgensteen Hey, its up there, I'd love to hear your totally objective, doubtlessly un-biased opinion.

    another lamer? nice: blorgenstupid! ha!

  • @anotherdrummer23

Is that the best you have? If you had half the skill you claim you do, you'd give us the link and make me eat my words.

What's the matter, scared you'd fail epically?

  • @blorgensteen click on my name, dummy. then there will be a section with my video uploads.... click on those.

  • this is the track that started for me in 1977 ,

still my fave track and what about peters solo

    amazing ! great memories !!

  • this drum solo is so simple to ceep up with yet its so amazing!!! old kiss ftw new drummer aint too bad like but still :S

  • This solo impressed the hell out of me when i first heard it as an impressionable 12 year old. Listening to it today it has lost nothing. The energy he maintains throughout this thing is simply incredible. I would go so far as to say it is one of the all time great drum solos. People knock these guys but they dont deserve it at all. There is musicianship, nuance and talent there.

  • 12 year old? :D i was like 6 and this was my fav song, the drum solo inspired me. all his drum solos. and now im addicted 2 this song :D

  • LOL I have always liked this song. Its kind of a differently constructed song. Ace's odd and unusual guitar solos in this make it memorable. When it takes off in the intro after the bass opening and really gets chugging along that's where i like it allot

    AAAAAAAAight!!!

  • i know :D this can be played and played and never seem overplayed :D

  • Play this solo on 45 rpm and it sound like a train going past you.

  • Unfortunately no one under 35 will know what you're talking about. I have the vinyl, just not the player anymore. :(

  • i'm 14 and know exactly what he's talking about.

  • I get what he's talking about. I have the record player. I need to track down a vinyl.

  • This solo is why i became a drummer.

    It is fanfuckingtastic!!!

  • Me too!!

    Peter Criss is the reason!

  • Peter Chris is the best!!

  • Rock band dlc next week!!!!!

  • GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OOOOOOOOOOOO
