I don't know. Are you downloading from mbrepository? You can try downloading from moddb 'dot' com instead. Go there and search for Brytenwalda 1.37. (I can't put links here).

They're Saxons, Angles, Britons, Picts, Irish and Jutes. The year is 636 so there are no Vikings yet. But there are Danish raiders roaming about and Frisians. (Note the video is old now, and most textures, weapons, armour etc. have been hugely improved); and the amount of scenes have been doubled if not more...

This is very facinating, great attention to detail. One small thing though, Britain at this point in time was not all tiny scattered settlements, there were still Britons living in Roman towns like Carlisle at least as late as 700, the Saxons did not change everything overnight. The other thing is I notice the way that the warriors dress in that battle scene on here is in clothing that dident appear for another few hundred years. Otherwise the buildings are pretty accurate.

I just play this mod few days ago, and its a really good work. Seriously, I recomended 100%, is like play a new M&B...and better!

You should work in the next game, paradox should hire(?) you for make more inmersive the next.

Love this mod, Esp. for its realism it battles the whole religious touch is weird to me i wanted to be a barbaric celt from ireland but EVERY MAJOR CITY was already Christian i was disappointed by that fact but i still love it!

There are many more NPC's such as many more companions, priests, pagan priests, quastuosas/prostitutes (to highten morale), special blacksmiths, and those related to the new quests and more...

nahh, the soldier/factions/etc names are just awful, and its hard to get to know them early in the game... and there is WAY too much factions, although its nice to see little ones crush and stuff... XD

The game play concept is brilliant fills in the missing bits from other mods, gives the player lots more choices, but the long strange names tiresome not much info on the military perks, weapons seem limited, lots of bugs, going into battle missing the amount of enemies we face at start also missing weapons I end up fighting with my fists, lots of those annoying red scripts. I hope they fix this. Overall it's an improvement but needs a lot of learning if you played the other mods a lot.

This really is an excellent mod. I was playing it for a couple of hours last night, and am in a terrible financial state. It's hard to get ahead but when you finally start winning battles against raiders and selling their crap, it gets much easier.

So are ladders the only means of sigeing a castle or are there other ways? And also if you don't mind me asking the castles from 3:57 to 4:03 those ships are they for show or can they be used as a means of transpotaion. And one last thing can this mod work for the original Mount and Blade not Warband?

@jesballboy: Either ladders or there will be holes in the wall. Siege towers were not used back then. Ships are just scene props (but on the overland map you can buy a ship to get faster around). It ONLY works for Warband.
