my personal opinion you should do dark brotherhood quest until you get the dark brotherhood horse shadowmere.it really is a cool horse

I have yet to join the dark brotherhood yet i have joined the imperials, thieves guild and companions and completed all quests. i havent had that cutscene yet either with the brotherhood.

The only problem I had with helping the Stormcloaks was that they're racist.

I went stormcloaks, but I was kinda sad to see how it affected whiterun. I kinda liked the jarl there :/

After killing the emperor for the dark brotherhood though, it seemed a bit too much to join the imperials, and so I had to go stormcloaks.

@CaptainXomas no he's not,get your facts straight before making an ignorant comment. He challange to a old fashioned duel like is common in Skyrim and the high kind accepted the challenge,but was no match for Ulfric so he lost.The old king was weak and a puppet for the empire.

I joined the imperials, to me the jarl of the stormcloaks seems like a dick honestly. Especially when you had to get everyone to agree to solve the dragon problem, he wanted the General from Solitude to give up lots of land and was making all sorts of threats.....So yeah, lol.... Anyways I'm a warrior which is way better than a mage on Skyrim, tho it wasn't better on Oblivion.

my opinion..

The missons for the imperials/stormcloaks are fun, my favorite in the game... Reminds me of the movie 300.
