The dude at the beginning seems to lack cue card skills. It looks a lot like comedian David Steinberg, but I can't figure out why he's having such trouble reading a few simple lines.

I remember in early 1970 when the Archies were scheduled to appear on ED SULLIVAN. Everyone was excited. The answer to the big questionwas about to be answered! Who were the musicians hiding behind the Archie characters? Everyone tuned in that night and eagerly awaited. When it was time for the Archies, the cartoon was shown and everybody was ticked off.

I believe it was comedian David Steinberg (used to appear on the 1960's show "The Smothers Brothers")....He hosted an ABC TV show called "The Music Scene" from 1969-1972.

I love Veronica! she is cute! she is a good dancer too! ha ha! OMG I just realized that me and my friends could totally be these characters, I am Archie, ( the redhead) my two best friends are girls, one blonde, ( Betty) and the other Veronica ( the brunette) ha ha I was born in the 80's do I didn't grow up with this cartoon, but I like it its cute, and not trashy like the ones kids have on nowadays.

actually that looks very good for a TP66/TK28 combo, slight registration errors (usual) but little if any lag which was oh so common on these...the regional stations in oz where i grew up had these and the images were something shocking at times.
