Wow! That was amazing you really must have a lot of patience. I can't get my Sims to stand still long enough for a photo, this is beautiful. It reminded me of a ballet (Maybe because you used the ballet animations lol) Where did you get those dress re textures? and the animated horses? or were they edited in there?

The horses come from mod the sims - search rideable horse.

Alot of the dresses are made by creators that don't have there sites up anymore but there are still some great ones out there at "All about style", "Tarox sims", and by Alexarosa at Modthesims. :))

I must say, I'm impressed. You had the sims doing almost the correct moves from the dance as Cinderella is going to the ball, and then you had them doing the correct movements with their arms in the actual scene. Very well done, and the efforts you took are obvious.

I'm not sure if you are familiar with the sims2 but it is very difficult to get them to do what you really want them to, and you are stuck within the limitations of the game. :) Having said that, I so glad you enjoyed my "interpretation".. lol... Thanks Diva Dear!... I believe the animation I used for twirling was the dance kiss... because you are guaranteed a twirl with that one, unlike the slow dance or classic dance, which is random... I think it also helps if your sims are "Romance" sims... but that brings with it a host of other problems.. ie swooning... lol

I've contemplated making a full Cinderella story because I have so much fun with the period cc.. but it's a lot of work, not sure I can commit to it.. so I dunno... :/ :)

LOL... believe me, I quit on a daily basis... haha.... The spinning is my favourite part too.. I had to layer, keyframe and render that shot about 6 or seven times, which is why the colour is a bit off... :/ But I'm still really happy with how it turned out.... Thanks so much for commenting. It became a bit of a challenge. Like a, "they are not going to beat me!" kind of thing.

There was much more that I wanted to do with this but towards the end I just couldn't bring myself to fight with it anymore

I knew experienced machinimators such as yourself would know how hard it is to have a huge set, high poly cc and 50 sims to control, so I consoled myself with that thought when I gave up :) Thanks Jen, your lovely comments mean a lot

In answer to your question about sets. I built the indoor rooms and downloaded a lot (I think from Modthesims) for the outdoor set and added a few things such as the fountains and staircase, to suit my needs.

Bravo! Bravo! This had me absolutely glued - gawd I love your style rupie. Great sets, and you had the choreography absolutely perfect. The shots were so grand, the whole movie gave me the sense of one of those old grand tcm movies. And I loved the funny little twist at the end - of course she left the ball to watch machinima tv lol! Who wouldn't?! But those sets!!! Those costumes!!! what a delight to watch - and the music was so perfect. Well done rupie :)
