I think the inability to fight or use skills while swimming on the surface is a very poor decision. I hope they remove that retarded idea because it will cause a lot of unnecessary frustration.

@observer75 I see what you mean, you can't fight on the surface. But i think what they are aiming to do is force you underwater to have combat, especially since thats where all the enemies are. Theres no need to fight on the surface since all the bad guys are underwater. The only reason you can swim on the surface is just so you can swim across a lake or something without having to submerge.

@observer75 They did that so they can effectively add in specific elements to underwater combat. While underwater, you utilize 3d space, not a 2d plane like on land, and so your abilities compliment that. Some skills will float you back up to the surface, meaning for that time until they reach the surface and manually go back down they won't be able to attack, which imitates a knockdown effect, only in water. Plus exactly would you imagine surface fighting to be? Surly not the same as underwater

@observer75 How do you fight while trying to keep yourself afloat? It only makes sense, I dont picture myself using a hammer trying to bash someones head in when Im swimminging on the surface. If nothing else, its realistic :P

@yaquak Not really. Instead of it being fire, it's magma. And magma causes the water to boil. I think it looks great! And after all, it is a fantasy MMORPG. There have to be some boundries to realism! In order for a game to shine, they have to 'bend' realism a little bit ^^

@yaquak fire underwater is possible in real world so why wouldnt it be possible in a world that has magic??????????

easy way u can make fire underwater take fingernail polish melt Styrofoam into it and it will burn underwater <----- this makes napalm so wouldnt advise you too try it but.....
