A new music book is being published called 'You Are A Tube!' compiled by Steven Fried PLC. This publication contains literally thousands of comments from YouTube.
My grandad played this record along with "Last Date" for me and my brother in the sixties. We just loved this one. I have always been a fan of Mr. Cramer since then.
Thanks to Simon Mayo's drivetime on bbc radio 2, always plays this piece on Fridays as backing music. Been scratchin my head for ages trying to find out who was playing it. Now I know and its superb. Thanks for posting.
@MePJtheDJ To those of us who grew up the 60s those black labels with the silver lettering and logos are iconic (RCA, Parlophone/Columbia from c 1962, Stateside, Tamla Motown, and most of all, London American).
@bhamboy05 I can tell you where there's more like this. Thanks to uploaders like 45rpm here, I've compiled a century of the best instrumentals (& a few vocals) into 750 playlists on my channel, honouring 450 artists, like Floyd Cramer, 100 genres, & every yr since 1900 has a playlist. Hope you stop by. chuck in Phoenix
Christmas 1961, i think, under the tree, i got a record player and Floyd Cramer's On the Rebound LP, a Johnny Horton and a Marty Robbins album too.. started a rather large vinyl collection.. thanks for the memories!
@mrdee11091 Quite agree . Has done more than one recording of this though by the sounds of it . I have it but slightly different to this . Reckon I must have a latter version .

If only I could get my computer to sound like a Wurlitzer Juke box. That's the way I remember it best. Love this tune.

May I recommend the book 'A Pop Revolution' by the invisible man. The author is a big fan of this instrumental.

I forgot this tune existed! It's a couple years before my time, but I remember hearing if in childhood.
