  • is this near the 4 train station at Woodlawn?

  • Ah no...its near 233rd Street 2/5 subway station!

  • ok thanks! How long of a walk is it

  • About 3-4 blocks!

  • How far does the train go?

  • Read the description!

  • white plains?!

  • I think you read that again b/c I didn't type White Plains!

  • north white plains?

  • Yes!

  • what are these trains called ,there nice looking!

and these trains remind me of the R160's cause of the yellow light on the top!

  • Read my tags for the name of the train and these do not look no way like a R-160!

  • l meant what is that model called?

  • The model/type of train is in my tags!

  • M7A?

  • Yes!

  • Yellow light on top!!

  • Make more Metro-North Videos

  • I can't promise you that b/c I don't be in The Bronx like that!

  • i wish they had that kind of train on the new haven line

  • They will and its called the M-8's, it suppose to be in service sometime next year!

  • The M-8s are beautiful. I hope that they model that trains.

  • Thank you...I'm glad someone other than myself like the M-8's...can't wait it for to test during the summer of this year and be in revenue service the end of this year or beginning of next year!

  • People were saying that they were ugly mainly because they saw that big square box version of it. It was only the prototype and not everyone knew that. I believe that when they see the real train, they will change their minds. I saw pics of the actual M-8 being built in Japan and it is awesome. I could send you the link to it.

  • Well ppl don't appreciate good trains when they see one...I call them the NTT haters. I see the pics of them from other websites and Google. I like them and can't wait to ride them. Now i got a reason to ride the New Haven Line!

  • i can see the platforms are not that long lol

  • LOL....they are 4-5 car platform!

  • Yes!

  • If you look closely, the driver braked too late for people to get out the very front passenger door.

  • Nah he didn't brake too late....if he did the the red light on the door wouldn't have came on or he would had to reverse the train just a lil bit!

  • Not really, unless they installed some sort of sensor, he could have easily "watched" the door so nobody would "get off". I know its been done before when I've ridden the trains, although haven't seen it done on the M7s.

  • Oh ok....thanks!
