  • took that recoil like a man lol.

  • The Jeff i just saw moving a pipe about looks nothing like this, wow !

  • Who is that ?

  • i just got one for christmas!!! =D I'm stoked man, my first shotgun, it jammed thef irst shot which i was kinda worried about but we fixed it shot like another 100 rounds no more jamming and i freaking LOVE ITTTT Mossberg 500

  • @Axion3812 I have a Maverick which is a cheaper version, many parts and accessories are interchangable, Never jammed. Maverick is like how Rustler is made by Wrangler, made by Mossberg.

  • tip: when loading one into the chamber, load over the top not the bottom. just a little tip.

  • @NinjaofTinfoil calm down!!! Jeez he said good job that he lost weight!!!

  • holy fuck you were a fat shit in this video you've lost a hella lot of weight good job man

  • heres a shooting tip for you free of charge, when standing up to shoot, when you shoulder your gun, you are only accurate for the first 6 seconds, if you don't get a shot off within 6 seconds, relax your self, put the gun down, and reshoulder the gun.

  • @M9130Dude762X54R I think it kind of depends on the person. I've heard this before, but my friends and I don't agree. We all tried it and failed.

  • @thatgreggguy yeah i get what yours saying, idk i learned it from a Marine shooting instructor so i thought i'd share what I was taught.

  • @M9130Dude762X54R Thing with the Marines is that they want everything done their way. Which isn't me hating, I'm thinking of joining them.

  • cant belive you found the green tac on the grass!!!

  • i love that tree behind you!!!!Is it a monkey tree?

  • looked like almost zero recoil!

  • JEFF what happened to safety first lol

  • wow....Jeff i'm looking at this saying no way that's you till you hear your voice. You are lookin 100 percent better now you got some weight off. Man what a difference!

  • gonna get one of these on friday or sat just depends which day i feel less lazy

  • Lol, are you going to hunt food with it?

  • Wow Jeff :) You have lost a log of weight since then!

  • @AnimeJunkey71 You beat me to this comment! I was gonna say the same thing. Oh well, great minds think alike.

  • how comes u put it in the top and not the bottom?

  • Glad im not robbing ur house lmfao

  • awesome video

  • @hammer55551 you need to get a life you loser

  • tha 590 is a beast as well

  • Great video. And tell Hammer 555551 to stick a 12 gauge up his ass and blow his guts out through his mouth. Mossberg 500 baby.

  • Damn man you lost a lot of weight since this video, great job!

  • You're lucky that shotguns are legal where you live.

  • How do u take the wood stick out of the load tube?

  • @hdevonxz2 unscrew the barrel. turn the shotgun with the stock pointing up and shake it, if that doesnt work load shells into the gun while the barrel is still off, then it will push the limiter plug out of the magazine. there should be 2 rubber rings around the stick to secure it in place. so dont yank it out hard

  • @hdevonxz2 Take the barrel off, point the gun at the floor, shake it out.

  • @hdevonxz2 whats that wood stick for?

  • Imagine how badass he felt when he pumped a shell outta the gun.

You're right, you DID look badass

  • damn he is shakin

  • dang jeff you look sooooo much skinnier now. thats awesome keep up the weight lose.

  • Hurry up and get the new computer I'm watching your old vids just to get by :(

  • Just watched your film. This will be me in a matter of days, getting my new Mossberg 500. Here in the UK I can only have 2+1 capacity. Guess we're too dangerous with more. Mines a synthetic black, 28", 3"...can't wait.

  • @dmanwhocan I have the same one...but I put a spec ops stock&forarm on mine....you do know that you can take the wooden stick out of the load tube which allows you to hold more rounds ,mines hold 7 +1 and 8+1 if i'm shooting slugs

  • when i did see u i understand whay u have that gun(Big people=big guns)

  • you lost alot of weight.

  • Look forward to seeing you run some 00 through her.

    Great video.

  • Nice , try Shoot N C targets.

  • so how do you like the 500? i run a 870 and i lov it. you do any transition from 00B to slug at all? it kinda sux in a 500. but nice vid have a good 1

  • Maybe if you lost some weight, you could run from trouble. Leave the Twinkies alone!!!

  • @hammer555551 since I have started making videos here I lost 60 lbs

  • @cutlerylover OK, good! Next time shoot faster. Acquire the target quickly, and shoot!! Don't take so long to aim the shotgun. Shotguns are not AIMED, they are POINTED!! You took WAY too long to shoot. You would have been shot long before you got off a round. Practice rapid-target acquisition, and firing. OK Private Pyle!!

  • @hammer555551 you aim all guns if you think a shotgun is a scatter gun your just another guy who doesnt know much about guns, even with birdshot the pattern at 10 feet is within a foot...secondly this was my 1st time shooting a shotgun, watch more recent videos search cutlerylover mossberg

  • @cutlerylover LMAO!!! I've been shooting, hunting, and killing for 53 years. I've forgotten more about guns than you'll ever know, Porky!! You POINT a shotgun. The only time you would AIM a shotgun is if it has rifle sights, as in a deer slug special. If you want to know anything about guns, let me know. In the meantime, lay off the La Sagna!!

  • @hammer555551 for for 53 years you thought you just point a shotgun and it kills everything ion front of you, you fucking tool, Im sorry...old tool..

  • @cutlerylover Old fool!! Why you lard-ass, I could probably outshoot, outrun, and out-do you on just about anything!! Hey, ya' know they got stuff named after you in the super-market.............PORK BUTTS!!!!

  • @hammer555551 for an old fuck you lack originality that comment could have come from one of the many 12 year olds on here...So Ill assume you lack wisdom as well...thanks for watching, enjoy the rest of your day

  • @hammer555551

so put up som vids, no need to talk crap.

  • @JonRamboCA Rambo!! More like Rambone the Hambone!! LMAO!!

  • Damn i dont no which one to get the Mossberg 12 gauge or the Remmington 12 gauge........HELP!!!!!

    ---Angelo

  • @UNIONPACIFIC1 Mossberg has a thumb safety on top of the frame. Remington has a button safety behind the trigger guard. I like Mossberg because you can visually see if the safety is off when you are aiming. Also with the Mossberg you cannot pinch your finger loading shells (elevator stays up). It has an aluminum alloy receiver which is lighter. Remington is steel. Remington is slightly more expensive but doesn't really have any advantages except for people used to its controls.

  • @RWT683 So this message is for the both of you so i will be sending this to the other guy that commented xXxChupxXx so what shot gun do you have mossberg or remmington i saw cutlerylovers vid on the safety problem and its a bit discouraging to get the mossberg because of it.

    --Angelo

  • @UNIONPACIFIC1 I changed the stock on my Mossberg and did not have the safety problem. It's probably related to using a 3rd party stock. If it bothers you get the Remington, but you should not really rely on a manual safety anyway because they can fail on almost any gun. Like Chup said the best thing for deciding is to handle both in the store.

  • @UNIONPACIFIC1 I have owned both the Remington & Mossberg. I'll pm you so I can have more room to wright.

  • @UNIONPACIFIC1 Both are solid dependable guns. Both have readily available repair parts and aftermarket add-ons. You can not make a wrong choice between the two. Only way to tell which is for you is to go try them on and see what fits. Work the pump and safety. Feel which trigger and stock your hands mold to easily. Pull each up to line of sight see which aims more naturally. Try do feel both in the same day so its fresh in your head.

  • birdshots?

  • Man I want a shotgun.

  • This was open choke right?

  • hey your suposed to blow the smoke out of the chaber after yu fire it

  • wow dude... haha you have been getting slimmer and slimmer every year... congrats dude :)

  • it's a shotgun, you dont have to "concentrate" so hard on aiming.

  • wow i been watching alot of your new videos and just watched this, you look so much thinner in the newer videos :D Congrats dude, keep up the good work ^-^

  • how heavy is that gun

  • on 1:13 you could see a bunch of shotgun shells on the ground

  • @jfdm35 1 shell lots of leaves

  • @cutlerylover LOL= lots of leaves

  • Dude, rent a video! Loading under the receiver with your left hand? How long do you what to wait while aiming a "SHOTGUN" before the perp gets the edge on you???

Your on the correct track, but man!

  • I just love you zippo tricks tutorials ^^ thanks man : ))

  • Cool video, I too en a mossberg 590. It's a perfect shotgun for home defense and it also comes drilled and tapped to add a scope or whatever you want. I personally wouldn't use a bird shot because of the splatter. I have mine loaded with 00buck. Also have slugs and 3" 00 super magnum but I have them on the side saddle. I would never use slugs for home defense because of the power behind the round and not to mention it will keep traveling and prob stop at your neighbors. Just saying.

  • what type of shotgun carries more then 9 rounds pump style?

  • turkey loads is good for home defense, i would imagine

  • are you having a seizure while you filmed this

  • actually 7 shells is good enough for home defense too - you have to been an idiot not to run when you already get peppered @ 15 feet.

Beside, most ppl I know they have a 4 shell or an double ought right after the 7.

  • @smlemk42 even at 15 feet the shot pattern is tight, no more than 8" or so with OO buck, people think a shotgun is a scatter gun so you cant miss, that couldn't be further from the truth

  • @cutlerylover

I sawed the barrel off, I don't think I can miss now.

    So ha.

  • @cutlerylover exactly. a shotgun really only scatters at longer ranges

  • @cutlerylover You ever try Federal Flite Control buckshot? I got a 6" circle at 30 feet with that stuff out of my 18.5" Cyl. bore 870. Excellent defense round.

  • @smlemk42 actually, you have to be an idiot not to run when you hear the shotgun "pump". EVERYBODY knows what that sound is!!

  • shoot a milk galon jug with the same round . please show how the splatter is and then show the differance with a slug using the same type target

  • A probably cyl. bore, but thats a great pattern. A burgler would be hard pressed to get his crack-bitch to pluck out all those bb's from his azz.

  • is this a modified choke

  • nice gun.

  • I prefer wood furniture to synthetic, but that's just me

  • This'll show those liberals who wanna take away our guns!

  • Comment removed

  • @aaronsbraga takes balls to talk shit on the internet huh

  • do you have down syndrome ???

  • @silverblotter wtf kind question is that?

  • @darkstar744 well do you, you kind look like a fat down syndrome kid

  • @silverblotter hahaha, me? are you serious

  • @joepesciscat mmm strange i don't even have a sister ...

  • @joepesciscat

this fucking reject has nothing but airsoft videos on his channel. He lives in the Uk and is jealous that he can't own a real guns like here in the USA, that's why he's trolling. poor bastard

  • this or the remington 870?? please tell me which is better, I'll be buying one soon. also do you need to change the choke going from slugs to 00 buck to bird shot? how do I know what choke to use? sorry for all the questions, any help would be appreciated, I'm looking to get my first shotgun soon. thanks

  • @joepesciscat LMMFAO!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice pine tree

  • @joepesciscat I bet ur 10 tons fatter than him, and you are just a little troll living under a bridge

  • @cutlerylover you tell that jackass how its gonna be!

  • @joepesciscat who's the lame one here , that guy has done nothing wrong and u asult him , well the it's more than fare that he returns u the favour ....

  • ide take a remington 870 over the mossberg 500 anyday.

  • @158057

    Why?

  • @eastofakron2 i whent to a few different stores and messed with the 500 and the remington 870. the mossberg just felt cheap and poorly put together. it wobbled and clanked around while the remington 870 felt very solid and well built. ide trust my life to both of them at any moment, but if i were to get one it would be the remington 870. ime sure the mossberg is great but it just bothered me.

  • @158057

thanks man, a lot of people seem to favor the remington over the mossberg, what i really want is the saiga 12

  • I LOVE ANYONE THAT LIKES FIREARMS........ my old man just bought that mossberg. annnnnnd I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! we just bought a case of ammo (number 2 heavy field load) so ill have somethin ta do tomorrow. Thunder Bay gets so friggen cold tho....... this video gets a "like"

  • load ya own shells, wet the shot down with a ratsac solution, dry em out and load them in ya mossy, fuckers'll bleed like anything :)

  • Ooo haha i thought it was a BB gun :P softairsektor.de

  • lol 99,897 veiws

  • love that shotgun! sir, you are quite lucky ;)

  • @Luuuukich

You can own one for $279 at Big 5 sporting goods

  • i fired my first shotgun round about two weeks ago and i loved it.

by the way, i dont know if you can add this but try to get a kind of cap that reduce the kickback my shotgun had one and i fired like two boxes under the week without having any pain in my shoulder.

  • 5000 stars

Great job man! Keep up tje great work!

P.s happy early birthday cutlery! Hope its a memorable one

  • 22 people want that shotgun.......

  • Same shotgun I own. Nice shot there, buddy!

  • that looks likes the gun that big daddy used in kick ass

  • @irnflwr Probably was. I don't think I've seen a Remington look like that one Big Daddy had.

  • @irnflwr It is

  • dude i love your fucking videos

  • I knew you wanted to shoot it again! Good vid man.

  • I fired a twelve gauge the other day for the first time it was awesome. Cool vid

  • put a polly choke on it and wow that kicks less then my noble 40a shotgun ... kicks like a horse

  • hey great video....I just bought my first shot gun and was worried about the kick, watching you gave me more confidence to go out to the gunrange and try it out.

  • @fdeadhead You tend to find more kick in synthetic guns, because they are generally lighter, thats why i would prefer a wooden stock and forestock.

  • wow whatta spread mine is about 5-6 inch from 20 -25 yards

  • That's a nice shotgun. Hoping to get one myself reasonably soon. Not sure if one would be allowed a pistol grip in the UK however, but it does make it look like sex in a gun though :) I'd be shooting clays or 'skeets' as they say over the pond, you reckon this would be practical with the M500? I'm quick on the cycle shall we say...

  • @dmanwhocan They sell a version with 2 barrels, one long(hunting/target) and one short(home defense). Its the same price, but only has a 5 round capacity. The security model(the one shown here i think) has an 8 round capacity, but only comes with the short barrel.

  • @dmanwhocan m500 is more of a home defense gun

  • @stangsaleens7 In certain configurations. Lots of M500s have long barrels and wooden stocks and are used for hunting.

  • I just bought a new Mossberg 500 and can't wait to get it to the rifle range and try it out. That was sure a broad pattern for bird shot at 15 yards. I am going to fire some bird shot and 00 shot also. I bought my shotgun mainly for personal safety at home, but I think I may keep it loaded with bird shot. If it is dark, if I just aim the gun in the general direction of anyone trying to break into my house, I am bound to hit something.

  • cutlerylover, is this a Mossberg 590? nice looking shotgun. how does it feel to shoot?

  • why did you load via the eject hole and not the load chamber under the barrel?

  • dude your beast you have no chub just muscle

  • damn takes you awhile to aim with a SHOTGUN...

  • you just love weapons dont you

  • nice tree

  • Shot guns are fun to shoot. I shot one in vegas.

  • do i see a flinch...lol...thats ok...dude I flinched when I started off.

  • looks like you didn't mind the recoil one bit. i'm new to shotguns and rented the 870 and a nova (they didn't have any mossbergs). remington was fine but that benelli killed me for some reason. i guess you get used to these things

  • When the zombie apocalypse happens, I want to team up with Jeff

  • Fuck, I wouldn't wanna be the guy robbing your house XD

  • @shadowhunter388 This should be an example why you shouldnt rob anyone in america ......

  • @salemhodson you didn't state what gauge you shotty is; assuming it's a 12 gauge-try 2-3/4" shells with the smallest 'dram equiv' number you can find [that's the propellant compared to black powder] ; look for the smallest amount of shot you can find [1oz or 1-1/4oz]; [not as important] a shot size of 7 or 8 should be fine, .. Also, steel shot tends to have less recoil than lead. I'm no expert, but this is what I've learned- hope it helps!

  • slugs are fun

  • What was that turn after the shot just to walk back to the camera all about? Weird!?

  • i can tell this was when u first got into guns cause u looked kinda scared lol no offense i do the same thing sometimes

  • thats nice how much did it cost?

  • I own a 500 w/ 28" barrel and wood stock. Never had a problem with it after about 1000 rounds now absolutely worth the money. I like the 20" Synthetic though with the right accessories it can look mean. You should try putting the camera behind your shoulder so we can see the shot hit the target, as you shoot. Good video though dig the gun.

  • get a pistol grip on that thing!!!!! nice gauge

  • A Mossberg 500 was my first gun. Lightfield sabot slugs are perfectly tuned for deer hunting and are accurate to 100 yards with the 2.5x scope that came with the gun.

It also takes a wide variety of ammo with the non-rifled barrel. I prefer Remington 00 buckshot for home defense.

    Great video!

  • Good, solid form, CL!

Glad you like the 500! That Persuader 7+1 you have is the most popular model these days.

  • Gun still working good?

  • oh god.

  • Man, I don't know what else I could say about your videos or you than that you are a really nice guy! And I'm not a gay, by the way x).

  • Have you had any problems with the stock? My stock came loose after the first 100 shots (birdshots). I thightened it. Then I shot about 200 birdshots (during one year). Suddenly yesterday my stock came really loose when i was shooting. When i removed the stock the stock bolts flat washer was bent really badly causing the stock to come loose. Have you had any problems with the stocks washers?

  • i have a 500 but its a 20 gage

  • cool i got a 12 gauge 7 shot shotgun i bought for $109 and a 20 gauge i got for 250 at a gun store

  • was that one shoot!

  • weakkkk

  • how come theres like NO recoil?

  • @iamaGod357 because he is shooting #7 birdshot which are little recoil. I didn't see the brass on the rounds but target loads usually dont have much powder and kick less. plus his stance is good. you can pretty much control the recoil with your stance alone. keep your feel at shoulder length, weak leg forward, and lean into the shot.

  • Nice video hope to see more of your guns.

  • I have the same shotgun, Mossberg 500 Persuader. As you know, but others might not, persuader is a mossberg 500 with blued barrel, 20.5" barrel, and its a 7+1 shot. I like the gun and all, but i wish i got a parkerized 590. Some reason the 590 holds 1 more shell than the mossberg, and its the same length barrel. Its also slightly more durable, and only around 50 more. Id trade my gun up for one, but its the first shotgun i bought, and i dont want to get rid of it..sigh..

  • @zainaku I dont think the 590 is more durable,There the only difference is the hold more longer barrel maybe a bayonet slug!

  • irthedunecat. i am sorry for my comment. you are right i am a troll. that was wrong on my part. please accept my apology. i recently lost 60lbs. you reminded me of how i had let myself go. please take care of your health. sincerely yours.

  • really really -__-
