  • I guess I figured out how you were related to VN in the past. It's the age factor :). Really love your crisp video. I came to Hue early spring time there. It was cold and rainy, more like where I live back in the States. Hue is beautiful, my favourite place in VN. Thanks for sharing this video.

  • @oakpineful Thanks for your comment. You are correct I believe.

Yes, Hue is very rainy in the fall, winter and spring. I was in the area many years ago and have been back a number of times.

FYI - if you've not already seen it, some images of the most recent visit with a couple of friends back in August were captured and uploaded in the video "Hue - Viet Nam and the Countryside" uploaded to YouTube 2 September 2011.

  • Yes, thank you for posting this video. I've been away from Hue for 33 years but my heart is always there...God bless you!

  • Phrakanong, thanks again for your video, it brought me to tears, you made such a lovely video for people to remember where they come from! I am amazed that you are not vietnamese but you shot all your movies about vietnam with love, thank you!

  • @saigonminn I am not Vietnamese but I have some strong connections to Viet Nam. Thanks for your generous comment.

  • Yes! If you travel from TPHCM to Phan Thiet, you're passing through Dong Nai . Feel you mind if I ask your work? I also love free way of life that, to many places and explore many things. In the future, I want competition in the tourism sector of a university in TPHCM.But regret that I am not good at English. But make sure that industry will go into Vietnam culture. Happy to know you! You can contact me via email: love_guitar94@yahoo.com (I wanted to become a guitarist !hì hì :d)

  • @ phrakanong: I'm not in Huế, I am living in Dong Nai Province-a province in southern Vietnam .I never been to Huế,but I really liked that place .Huế beautiful and romantic.Huế was the capital of the Nguyen Dynasty in ancient times

.I thought maybe you know a lot of Huế. I don't need to introduce anymore, right? People here are hardworking, diligent and creative, although very difficult natural conditions .I think you love your country as I do that

    :d

  • @theloveguitar94 Yes, I know about Hue, a little bit. I lived near there a long time ago.

I think I have traveled through Dong Nai Province. I once rode my motorbike from HCM City to Phan Thiet and another time all of the way to Nha Trang, on QL 1a, (I think).

  • @ phrakanong: that you understand and speak Vietnamese, right? makes me tired even when translated into English, huhu. Nói tiếng Việt luôn được không ạ? hì hì :d

  • @theloveguitar94 Being away from VN it is easy to forget. When I go back to VN it returns very slowly.

Are you from the Huế area?

  • @ phrakanong: Your name is the name of Thailand was not?

sorry but you're probably older than me, feel you mind if I ask how old and are male or female? Very happy and proud that my country is known and loved it. I also want to travel many places, but I have been in high school general, I don't have time.Vietnamese always welcomes all visitors! :d

  • @theloveguitar94 I am much older than you. I first went to your country about 44 years ago. Phrakanong is the name of an area in Bangkok where I lived before. I went back to visit VN for the first time 22 years ago and then went back again many times. I lived there during the 1990's. I think you can figure out the rest.

    Hết rồi cháu ơi.

  • @ phrakanong: sorry! My English isn't good! But I want to know:where are you came from? I'm not ever been to Huế ,but I love Huế and love my country ! :d

  • @theloveguitar94 Your English is no problem. I was born in US. Now living in Thailand for many years,

  • @ phrakanong: where are you came from? I'm Vietnamese. You used to come Vietnam?

  • @theloveguitar94 "... used to come" Yes, about three years in Viet Nam. I'm not Vietnamese but have a close attachment to VN.

  • I love Viet Nam :-* ! VN Pro ghê yk' :d

  • @davidfast2003 It's the XR 200 with 120 GB hard drive. Sorry, I cannot translate the song for you.

  • @phrakanong Thank you so much. Well done with the video.

  • i love viet nam hue citi....

  • What camera did you use and did you do any color editing?

  • @burgernuds No color editing used. Video editing was done in Adobe Premier Pro 4. Camera is a Sony HDR-XR. Some of these videos have unintended flickers in them. I don't know what causes these, maybe something in Premier.

  • @phrakanong There are various models of this series such as HDR-XR 100, 350, 550V etc, would be appreciated if u could be more specific. The video quality is super, but it's even better if I can understand the music as well.
