good job,go on youtube under peter laquis 20b rx7,stock supension stock gear box,700hp 600ft ,PUMP GAS,street car and it ran 9.76sec,just amazing,i was shock when i saw that car
@iLimet it depends if the evo has had transmission, tcase, or diff mods which will dictate what end spins the tires first. i've seen plenty spin the rears and then the fronts catch up and the car is running like a bat outta hell.
It seems like the 20B swap into a FC has been done alot. I've been trying to look for like kind of a walk through of how its done. I'm considering doing that same body kit FC2000 bumper and 20B swap as well. Have any ideas?
@knduong upgrade your suspension first, then get a bigger engine. everyone always do the opposite and end up trying to find a new differential which is a bitch considering the year of the car.
@SpecVchild , U have wheels to race? or do you just run your mouth? or keyboeard for that matter....let me know when mommy buys you a car...LOL, this car ran 11.0 with a 1.8 60foot due to traction...I seriously doubt the evo could have held on...I will race whatever you got from a roll, if you dare!
You are probably right about the Evo, we were running 20 psi on the 3 rotor and were having driveline issues, for this reason we could not push full power off the line, this has changed now so stay tuned for future videos!

Ummm NO.... That evo probably just had bolt on's and probably only pushing about 22psi. Mid 11's on an Evo is nothing. They have 9sec street evo's FULL WEIGHT on the streets now.
3 rotors are misunderstood, they produce massive power off the line and top end, in this video the Fc had the stock rear suspension which would not hold up to the torque, even at 20 psi on pump gas like on this video. look a the mph it produces no street evo that I have seen can do this on pump gas.
@CF3rotor i see so you didnt do the suspension first haaaa i figured you did that first but after watching this video i could tell you didnt. your ass dipped way to low, you should get your suspension dealt with asap especially if you want to continue racing. it would be a pity that you installed a 20B into that FC for nothing
@CF3rotor fast forward 2 years later..... theres plenty of street driven and daily driven evos making those times on pump gas and e85, my friend is one of them..... he traps consistent 137mph, but he makes too much torque for the drag radials so he looses about 1.5 seconds off the line due to spinning the tires bad.
This is one of the reasons i want a 3 rotor so damn baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad

11.04 good! you must be hanging with 600cc bikes from a roll
golf1diesel 2 years ago
Yes, from a roll the car pulls hard, it is still running at 20 psi due to traction limitations.

luvbabyalan 2 years ago 10
Didn't have a CHANCE?! 11.0 to 11.4 Pretty good chance to me. You swear like that Evo ran a 13. GTFO

No its still on but modified the mounts for it, just sent you a pm.

I know what you mean. Look over the rx7club in drag racing section, engines far outlast trannys, rear ends and drive shafts:)
