Greg, Apollo charge a lot for this track due to the copyright issues. Do you know of a comparable standard CD - HMV are pants in the UK, with no demos. There is so much variation in this piece but I like this version.

I understand what you mean; there are many ways to interpret the same piece of music. Try this video : Luigi Boccherini: Minuetto (classical) , channel : Meusician. I guess the quintet playing is Quintetto Boccherini, much livelier to me. This is a more subtle and refined interpretation, anyway, there's both superb, it's just a matter of subjective taste...

It's in the movie "Ferris Beuller's Day Off" when Ferris, Cameron & Sloane are messing around with the Maitre 'd at the beginning of the restaurant scene. It's also featured in the movie "Some Kind of Wonderful" when Keith & Amanda are on their date at the restaurant.
