I was there, and sir before you start saying show some respect. that crowd was the biggest crowd i've ever seen to show such respect, everybody knew the songs, there was over 15,000 fans there just for tool. when it was a huge festival, if you were a band and had such treatment we gave tool. You'd highlight it as one of the best points of your career. even im amazed at how big it went off. so please dont be a moron and put your nose where it dosn't belong. ;]

all i am saying is that the people dont have to frikken scream while tool is playing. what does that accomplish other than imparing peoples ability to hear the music and 'letting tool know you are a fan', as if they did not already know that. you are at their concert after all. applauding is great, but screaming and yelling and whistleing is non-essential during songs.

Please read next time before you post a hasty comment. ive already said that cheering is lust fine. but ive been to a few concerts and have rarely been able to hear the band as they wanted to be heared. also its just my opinion, im not some priest or king trying to change the world.

i like sitting down and actually watching the band play, being a musician myself i pretty much always just listen to different qualities of the studio to when im seeing them live.

but also it depends on the band. for example: if its some band that pretty much sounds shit live, but have a lot of energy in their songs (avenged sevenfold) mosh, ignore what they are playing, whereas if its a band who are genius's (tool) i rather sit and enjoy their playing.

my 2 cents atleast.

not being in the pit for this gig is one of my biggest regrets in life so far. My fricken (now ex) gf didn't want me to go in there coz she would have been alone. I was standing outside of the pit, near the barrier. I was still in the D section, though, unlike those unlucky fuckers who couldn't get in :p

Tool were fucken amazing. I loved them. The laser lights were awesome.
