Wow, I remember watching this as a kid. Granted some to the mysteries on this program have now been discovered and given a proper explanation. There are still others which have yet been given a good explanation.

wow. i really didn't expect to find this on youtube but i tried anyway. thanks junmn77 for uploading this. i can't think of anything as truly beautiful in the earth sky as a total solar eclipse. arthur was a true legend. we owe him a great deal, thank him every time you watch digital tv or land safely in a jumbo jet or use your cell phone and so on and so on, not to mention his nearly 80 novels and contributions to sci-fi literature.

First,the ball ligthning came from OUTSIDE,not the kitchen,secondly,the 2 gas maine where completly cut trough,I doupt than they didn't found out before seen as the operate a restaurent and all,i mean if it leaked even a little they would have smelled the gas...

Mr Clarke said "You can watch eclipse without a fear.." he was wrong. Due to light interferention the light concentrates at so high rate that you can became blind for entire life. That happened in India in 2006. More than 80 people became blind.

i love they way you have written a personal note to the guy. now that is mysteries. the reaqson why programmes like this arent shown now is beacause science has the answerr to these things. moving stones, yetis etcc answers for it all

Not to mention the point that now is different from the past in the sense that back then people were incouraged to ask questions whereas now one is expected to shut up, don't mind the man behind the curtain, keep your head in the sand, question nothing, and except what is shoveled down thier throat!
