  • Thanks for taking time to offer a solution

A "global" solution might sound like the plan is to wait for the whole world to agree on a plan of action, giving the impression the moon will have left the earths orbit before you get anything done.

Imo a network of diversified organizations and local communities would sound better than the word 'global' which sounds global-governmenty

I like the idea of RBE-ish brand is a good idea, there might be a flaw or two to iron out but I like the thinking

  • please remove the annoying music!!!

  • New deal that's where it all started to get out of the great depression G 20 has a lot of problems because of population it's all numbers, engineers are out of work, manufacturing everything

  • Population, scientific research, nanotechnology, advanced future leading into 2016-2020, futuristic energy sources, was thinking that Hydrogen/ DC batteries would be an alternative, Smart Grid, economy has never been worse sice the depression because people are out of work or afraid of losing their jobs and the 2008 administration is criminal

  • out of focus rather

  • a twist on the resource based economy - why rename it and make it vague and focus - but not eliminating money with the realization of abundance - will not work even for the smaller money economy you invision - why? the smaller economy will also be jobless there is virtualy nothing that cant be automated almost completely - i appreciate the money less economy for basic needs but most people will end up stuck in a basic need existence - you need to rethink the money portion of your plan

  • @MrIzzyDizzy Thank you so much for your constructive comment. I am a supporter of the Resource Based Economy approach, and Zeitgeist, I simply think that it isn't realistic in its applicability to reality. What you have to understand about these proposals, is that there is no intention of creating a final stable solution, the intention is in the transition process from what we have today, to what will be able to evolve into a future economy. My main concern with the Resource Based Economy is.

  • @MrIzzyDizzy that it is very impersonal. It is based on resources for human necessities and what our ability to use those resources is. Obviously this is important, essencial in fact, but in my studies of natural ecosystems and "Natural Law", there actually is more to the Natural Economy than just resources. When I look at the pattern of nature and the natural economy, I see a dance of are and complex relationships that have value in and of themselves. Therefore in my calculations the ...

  • @MrIzzyDizzy value of the resources of our planet do not add up to the value of the Natural Economy. Therefore a Resource Based Economy in its focus is missing the foundation of what makes the natural world, Nature. Does that mean its wrong, no, not at all, I just choose to look at a bigger perspective. Also what I love about a "Natural" based economy is that it is founded in the Laws of Nature, and in the Natural Law of Man Kind, including a direct connection to the Legal foundation of...

  • @MrIzzyDizzy the current dominant global governance system: The Declaration of Independence. Therefore in my understanding the Declaration of Independence can and must be used as a beacon for supporting the creation of a Natural Based Economy which legal puts Natural Law above all other forms of human law. And this document is the foundation to the Constitution of the United States. Going back to your original question. I don't pretent to have all the answers....

  • @MrIzzyDizzy I simply want to see the major aspects of a transition start NOW, not wait for something catastrophic to happen. It just isn't necessary. I cannot say for certain what the future economy will end up being, but I know that there is no way in this reality that we are going to switch from our current economy to a Resource Based Economy directly. There needs to be something in between, and this proposal is an option. If it is implemented, then you could eventually create a RBE.

  • if automated machines take over. how will the growing population make enough money in order to buy food, housing etc even if its cheap people will still need an income??

  • @zdillz Exactly, they wont. If unemployment continues to rise dew to technology, eventually the economy will collapse unless we can massively increase the level of innovation outside of the context of technology. We would need to create entire new markets that are people based. The alternative is a Natural Based Economy where the foundational level of the civilization is meeting peoples basic needs. In other words food, housing, transportation will get so cheap, people wont need money.

  • @zdillz Yet people will still be able to get a job and work to have money to buy comfort and luxury items. This plan is a balance between a no money system, and a only money system. In fact, the theory goes that if you simply meet peoples basic life needs, the increase to the economy will be huge and profits will go through the roof because more people will be able to participate in the comfort and luxury marketplace.

  • @BJCserves ah, i see. sounds like a promising idea. i guess it wont move that way untill the oil runs out though. the video talks of interactive politics, could you expand on what is meant by this and how it would work? as you seem to know your stuff.

  • @zdillz Well the idea is actually lots of ideas, and all of us spending the time to actually compile them together into a plan to distribute and educate to people. There is no quick fix. I am all about Sustainability, and I define sustainability in natures perspective as diversity. Therefore Sustainable Energy means a diversity of energy sources including Oil. There is no reason to stop using oil, the problem is that we put too much weight on it as our energy source creating instability.

  • @zdillz There are many components to making politics more interactive, and it would be a huge essay to try to fit all that right here. I would be happy to talk to you about it if you want, but what I will do is compile a list of different ways to make politics interactive, and post it on my website and link it here for you. As far as a few details, the key to interactivity is technology, and currently our government systems are still based on the same systems that have been around 200 years...

  • @zdillz The simple answer for how it would work, is creating an online network where anybody and vote on anything. It is really that simple, everybody should be able to have minimally advisory voting on every issue decided by any decision making body. This is very easy to do to get it started. From there the key is creating grass roots systems of representation and make our local government systems more interactive. There are already political parties where candidates do as is voted online.

  • @zdillz As far as what I am proposing on the video, a Real time direct representative democracy, the key to making this work is actually rather simple. We all create representatives, but the moment that an issue is so important to us that we want to have our own say, we can directly vote on it, and that vote directly bypasses our representative and our vote counts directly, making the representative have less power for that issue. In short, we can have representation or take control ourself.

  • @zdillz I wasn't able to send you the link for the list of 10 ways to make our government interactive. You can see it on our website by going to topics and clicking on government.

  • @HumanitysEvolution Ok no worries i will check it out. however on the point of a more interactive government, do you really trust the public to make the best decisions? I'm from Britian, which politically is more 'left' in terms of general ideology as compared to america. And at this current moment in time i would not trust the majority of people in britian to make the correct deicsions, or even informed decisions.

  • @HumanitysEvolution Not only that but i dont trust the political system itself. But atleast politicians certainly in britian have to try an please evryone (although rarely succesfully) under teh use of a direct vote, there going a large percentage of people who didnt get what the wanted and are not going to be considered. i'm guessing that your political proposals would also include some form of representative democracy aswell? (Should probably of read your proposals before writing this)

  • @zdillz I wasn't able to send you the link for the list of 10 ways to make our government interactive. You can see it on our website by going to topics and clicking on government.

  • Are you proposing this as an individual or are you part of an organization. If so what is the organization? Do you support Capitalism?

  • @SonOfMrGreengenes The simple answer is that I am interested in finding people who want to work with me to make something like this happen. The long answer is that I already work with some people within an organismic organizing approach, and our non-profit organization has 501(c)3 status. I want to help build Societal Transformation Coalitions to do trainings to build leadership, communication, and facilitation skills for the larger societal transformation movement.

  • @SonOfMrGreengenes As far as names go, 'Heeo' is the name of the organism, The Societal Transformation Network, is the name of the Network, World Collaborative for Transformative Community, is the name of the organization. The Community LIFE Network Inc. is the name of the Non-Profit Organization with 501(c)3 status. Humanity's Evolution is the name of the Book/Movie/Web Series. There are many other components to the organism, but we can talk about organismic structures an other time...

  • @SonOfMrGreengenes As far as Capitalism goes.... I do not support the ideas of any "ism", in the context of vocabulary sufficient to describe an actual observable existing structure. I do not believe any nation, society, or cultural can be explained using any word like "capitalism, socialism, communism etc...". If anything, every nations a mix between all systems to varying degrees and is much more complex. As far as "Capitalism" in the sense that your question asks, I would use the vocab....

  • @SonOfMrGreengenes In the sense you use "capitalism" I would use the vocab "Do I believe in a monetary system of society with fiat, debt based currencies?" My answer is simply that our current monetary system is a game. I believe people should be allowed not to play the money game and exist within a Natural Based Economy if they wish, or to be part of of the Natural Based Economy and play the money game simultaneously. But a game is not, and cannot be the foundation of a civilization. Thanks.

  • @SonOfMrGreengenes Oh, one more thing, I am currently attending Zeitgeist calls and collaborating with organization that relate to any of the goals that I support. So I work with numerous other organizations including Sustainability Organizations that I helped co-found.

  • I don't understand why you said that "a lot of people won't even realize that the shift occurred". What is your incentive in creating this system? When I started watching this, I though that it was to create a system that contributes to society and for creating global abundance. Also I think it's weird that in this system, there will be money. If we have machines doing almost everything (and eventually everything), than there wouldn't be any need for money.

  • @esca8652 Thanks for your comment. I understand completely where you are coming from. My concern with TMZ and the Zeitgeist Movies is that the goal is always in the future where there is an already existing Resource Based Economy. I am focused on the transition, and the transformation of our existing society. I feel that today we have the best system that has been created, and that we need to evolve that system to the next level.

  • @esca8652 People aren't going to support a new system if it ends their life as they know it, and is foreign and alien to them. My goal is to show that there is a transition process, a transformation process that has one foot in both systems. No one knows exactly what we will end up with, but that is not up to me, that is up to everybody. So by re-writing the foundational code to the existing system, it will allow a smooth transition. Eventually it is possible that we won't need money, but...

  • @esca8652 ...it doesn't make sense to believe that everyone on the earth is just going to stop using money in any sort of effect. Including no poker, no monopoly, no gambling. It just doesn't make sense, people are always going to play money games, and I personally define the entire existing monetary system as a huge money game that everyone plays, but that we don't have to continue to play if we don't want to. The most important thing is Value, and as you learn more about the proposals you..

  • @esca8652 ...you will see that value can be represented as almost anything. As we expand the definition of value and utilize a diversified currency economy alongside the growing natural based economy, we will see that the two economies are directly related, and as we use more and more metals, and then natural resources as currencies, we will see that the natural based economy is just the expansion of the human economy to include natural resources themselves as the foundation of value.

  • @esca8652 So my question to you is do we want to create a plan that is easy to follow, directly connects to our existing world and reality, and a plan we can implement NOW, and not have to wait? Or do you want to create a plan that we don't know how to get there, it is completely disconnected to our current society and lifestyles, and that people actively organize against. I say we go the first approach, and create a plan that is positive and is a win, win situation for everyone.

  • @BJCserves It could be a good temporary system for our society, as it is today. I can't try to poke any holes in it because I have virtually know understanding of how certain things work and interact with each other.
