@KeikoTeddy Yes that is the ride room (computer room). The tower would be at 6:46, there is a stairwell to the left of the gray door that leads down to the tower and A lift area. The blue arrows point the evac route from various brake zones

@sumrandomgirl someone didn't get decapitated on Space Mountain. in 2003 they shut down Space Mountain for refurbishment. for 2 years it was closed for a new track layout and theming. During a test run of the new ride, they put a manikin standing up on the cars and halfway towards the ride the manikan's head was decapitated. it wasn't a real human. 2 WHOLE YEARS closed and no real human going on SM. tests are done to make sure the ride is safe. they removed the bar that decapitated the fakie.

I remember one time we were stuck in Pirates for a good 45 mins we were stuck at the very end when youre going up to get to the loading docks before you pass the entrance into the building. Right before we got on there was another stuck incident and they were stuck for 2 hours.

Here in California, we cannot take your camera, but we strictly do not allow pictures being taken in our backstage areas. Space Mountain doesn't count because the guests are still "on-stage". but if we are assisting guests through our backstage areas, we do not allow photos to be taken and will ask the guest to delete their photos or video. if you do try to pull that Marine Corp BS on us, then you're find yourself banned from the parks forever.

No, I think webkinzcrazy1233 is correct. I was once stuck on this ride for 6 weeks. The cast members kept bringing food along and taking away our urine bottles so it wasn't so bad. My legs were sore when we got off though.

You cant be stuck on any ride for 6 weeks!!!! if maintance and the supervisers know that your gonna be stuck on that ride for a certin amount of time they will get you off the ride

Shows how much you know. This happened in summer '04 so a lot of the staff were on their jolly holidays for 6 weeks including all the maintance guys and cast members/supervisors for this ride. The only cast members around were school kids on minimum wage and they were all dressed as Mickey Mouse and/or Buzz Lightyear so they weren't much help (they weren't allowed to take off their gloves). It worked out well in the end as we got Fast Passes for the Carousel of Progress and $25 for our trouble.

Disneyland would have called the fire dept. if that were true what you said about the Supervisors and Maintance to get you off!!....like i said before, for how much they hate to evacuate you off the ride they would after so many hours if they know maintance cant fix the problem!!

To be fair, I always tell people I was stuck for 6 weeks but I just checked and I was actually stuck for only 5 weeks and 4 days.

Although making hoax calls to the fire dept. can be very funny there is a large fine if you are caught so it wasn't worth taking the risk just to create a bit of amusement for the people stuck on the ride. We wouldn't have seen much unless someone told them the fire was in the ride itself. LOL. We usually had Buzz Lightyear or Pluto around to keep us amused anyway.

I'm not sure what you mean. Why would anyone call the fire dept? There was no fire and no emergancy. A theme park ride got stuck thats all. It's hardly the next 9/11.

A woman from Disney did offer to lead everyone off the ride but apart from an older couple everyone prefered to wait so they could finish their turn. My sister had never been on it before so she didn't want to get off having only experienced half the ride. Loads of people cheared when we walked through the exit at the end.
