that really isent hard to do i have shot rocks the size of a fist at about 200yards wich is about 190 meters even though the target was at the bottom of the scope and the crosshairs were so high up.

@MegaCatfishman1 You cant mount the scope directly to a spring rifle. The forces applied by the piston will throw the scope out of wack everytime and can break the parts inside. You need to get some beefy rails to offest this from happening
@MegaCatfishman1 ok. draw a black dot on an A4 piece of paper (this will be your target throughout). take 3 shots, and adjust one axis at a time. first left or right. so adjust the scope left or right how ever many clicks you think will do it. fire 3 more shots. keep going until they are in line with the dot you drew. then do the same thing for the up and down axis. fire 3 shots as a grouping, then adjust up or down until your grouping is where you first drew that dot. that make sense? :S

30 yards is the generally accepted figure of the maximum distance for air rifle hunting. The distance at which a legal limit air rifle will still have 8ft/lbs which would kill an animal by the skin of you're fucking teeth.
80 yards the pellet .22 (Eley wasp) would have less than 6ft/lbs energy. Come back when you know what you're on about.

I dont know what to say man. I guess here in the US we have more room or something so we get more long range practice. I shoot resetable steel targets, 15 cm diameter with a pistol at 91 meters..the pistol is a stock Colt Commander. My pellet target set in the woods behind my house is 175 yards (160 meters) with a 4X fixed power weaver scope. Nice shooting though, maybe take it further and see how it goes.

ive gotten headshots on quail with my .20 cal air rifle at 100 yards. its like a 10 year old gun and only around 1000 fps but when i sight it in i make sure the pellets stack at ~50 yards. 100 yards takes some adjustment, inconsistant, but managable.
people must understand that air rife have come a long way and have advanced. Ive seen 177 at stores like dicks sporting goods that go 1200 fps. Even at 177, it can do extreme damage. people find hard to believe that pellet guns can shoot this far, Your sights are dead on bro. nice vid.

Sorry, I didnt know that. I was in Australia once, and the people there told me they could only own a gun if it was kept at a gun club, and they had to pay big fees to the government, and the gun club. I think they said you could only own a shot gun also. I figured the UK had similar laws since theyre both sort of run by the same folks.
@Aev308 you can own just about anything that isnt semi or full auto, u dont have to keep it at a gun club and the fee is only about 70 buck per year... there is no limit to how many guns you can buy.
Nice rifle and shooting, but I don't think the shot was too incredible =P I know with a little work you could easily see over 300 feet and definitely further. You should make a video shooting balloons well past 300 feet.
@228Ghost228 I just mic'd one of my .22 caliber RWS Superdome pellets and got a skirt diameter of .225", but we'll account for about .003" of crush on the skirt so we'll calc for a .222" formed pellet. Divide .222 by .0393700787 (Inch to millimeter factor) and you should get a diameter of 5.638 mm. Any more questions just PM me.

just been out and measured the distance with a 8m tape. came to 240ft or sumin like just over 73m. am gona start lookin for sum round ended or bisley superfields instead of these huge hollow end so i can start hitting further and more accurate. that was bout 5cm. yeh, shootin deodrant cans and yakult unused yakults is always fun too :)

im really not sure... ull have to just try and guess the distance by watchin it from 26 - 34 seconds. i had to aim over double wat the MAP system goes too :S wasnt easy...

Sorry, I didnt know that. I was in Australia once, and the people there told me they could only own a gun if it was kept at a gun club, and they had to pay big fees to the government, and the gun club. I think they said you could only own a shot gun also. I figured the UK had similar laws since theyre both sort of run by the same folks.

@Aev308 you can own just about anything that isnt semi or full auto, u dont have to keep it at a gun club and the fee is only about 70 buck per year... there is no limit to how many guns you can buy.

Nice rifle and shooting, but I don't think the shot was too incredible =P I know with a little work you could easily see over 300 feet and definitely further. You should make a video shooting balloons well past 300 feet.

@228Ghost228 I just mic'd one of my .22 caliber RWS Superdome pellets and got a skirt diameter of .225", but we'll account for about .003" of crush on the skirt so we'll calc for a .222" formed pellet. Divide .222 by .0393700787 (Inch to millimeter factor) and you should get a diameter of 5.638 mm. Any more questions just PM me.

Some mounts will cant your scope over to one side if they do not suit the guns scope grooves.
BKL's will sort this but are expensive and hard to get at the moment.
I use Hawke mounts after trying lots of others and find them very good.

i was going to get the one your talking about but the MAP system only works accuratly at X6, so i thought a fixed 6X40 scope would be just as suitble.
nikko scopes are ok. I mean, hawke are very good, but its best to try out 1 of each to see which one you prefer.

its a pain in the arse but i used a 5mtr tape measure to get the distance on my 87mtr long range shoot im interested to know what distance you were shooting as its hard to tell it must be a good 60mts+ so thats good shooting get some old spuds and fruit out there for more fun:) and have you tried to scope mount your cam??look forward to more vids as there are not enough spring/gasram vids out there im going to do some more vids this week as i have the week off....keep on shooting:)

just been out and measured the distance with a 8m tape. came to 240ft or sumin like just over 73m. am gona start lookin for sum round ended or bisley superfields instead of these huge hollow end so i can start hitting further and more accurate. that was bout 5cm. yeh, shootin deodrant cans and yakult unused yakults is always fun too :)
i will try and get sum rabbit, pigeon or crow shootin videos goin on too.

im really not sure... ull have to just try and guess the distance by watchin it from 26 - 34 seconds. i had to aim over double wat the MAP system goes too :S wasnt easy...
