Holly, Candy and Jackie were Holly Woodlawn, Candy Darling, and Jackie Curtis - Little Joe was Joe Dallesandro and Sugar Plum Fairy was Joe Campbell. They - along with Edie Sedgewick, Ultra Vioet, Lou, Bob Dylan to some degree, and a ton of others - all ran around together and are in many of Andy Warhol's movies. Great song and a great bit of history. Such a different world.
