wow, when you watch CDL 08-09 you would never suspect that she was going through that much pain. i never thought it was hurting her that bad until i saw this. she doesn't show it at all live! she must be in sort of a surreal but incredibly happy place when she's performing, i can't believe it was hurting her so badly - she looked so weak and drained from the pain.

Ayumi will never do any thing staged if she is hurt she is hurt but she pushes her self its not healthy but its her decision:( its true she loves her fans to much to give in to any thing! but I do think Avex should give her a break once a while but if Ayu said I could not do it then all of her fans would be sad and she did not want that, its not beause of Avex she does this its because of her fans and I know she will continue to fight and thats why we are there for her!

Poor Ayumi :( I fully understand how much she's devoted to her singing and it's her dream, something she truly loves so much, but she shouldn't have to work herself to death so much, she's needs a break, have a little time to herself, and just relax. I do admire her for not letting her fans down ^_^ but lets not forget that she's human too. I really hope she will be okay, bless her little heart , i'll pray for her.

I don't think it's a problem of avex or anyone else. It isn't the firs time Ayu does this kind of things. I mean, it happened once, when her hearing problems started, that she appeared in a wheel chair, but when the concert was about to be cancelled, she stood up and sang.

I mean, even now she es deaf of one ear, and she's still singing.

Yes, she can be a great drama queen, but she stills take her job seriously. I repeat, for me, it's HER who decides to go on despite this kind of things.

if I recall, Ayumi fell down the stairs of her apartment. She hurt her hand and her label takes blame- not for the injury, but always forcing her to perform in a frail condition.

There was a digest of videos uploaded months ago (don't remember who) of Ayu hurting her leg in a fall on stage. The label had her perform that night.

If they keep doing that to her, she may leave one day... especially if business decisions caused her personal failures, like that seven-year relationship that ended.

Your talk about her leg injury... Yes, that was before her Dome Tour 2001 concert. But wasn't it Ayu's decision to, literally, go "on with the show?" If I recall correctly (by the way, this is from that Light & Shadow/NTV interview back in 2004), the concert was to be canceled, but Ayu wanted to go on. And she did.

Same with the PCDL, I believe. I thought her/the doctor told her to take it easy, but she went on with this concert (which was even more grand than usual) anyway.

I admire Ayu for never letting her loyal fans down... it's astonishing how she gives such good music year after year.

I just don't know how much farther she can go, especially without hurting herself anymore in the process. I really don't want that to happen to anyone....

That's awfully cynical. While I don't doubt that the company and her staff might play things up or go out of their way to kinda pamper her -she is responsible for a lot of peoples' paychecks after all- I think it's a bit much to assume that something like her deafness is fake.

I can scarcely believe I'm about to say this, but I don't actually think avex is at fault here. Ayu does this kind of thing a lot, sometimes against the advice of the guys from the company. She takes her work seriously and does it with the attitude that if she can work through a condition or around it then that's what must be done.
