I've been thinking about buying the Iphone to use for sat nav, but I've heard there is a lag. Can anyone confirm this? I was informed that nothing beats a dedicated sat nav device. Is this true?

there are so many things wrong with this video. "face time", "new features like video recording", every sentence is bursting with positivity? "quick","amazing","simplicity","intense","incredible","remarkable". new grade of stainless steel? what is this BS!! This is the most arrogant thing I've ever fucking watched. I hate how they're acting like they've invented these "new features" when they've been around before the Iphone fucking existed. And then they have the balls to rename them!! -LMFAO-

One question is the audio actually connected to the car speakers and the microphone to the car itself? i.e. is the music played through the car speakers?
and can I make calls with this whilst driving?

Can you view history, or save history, or download it, like breadcrumbs on the Navigon for Iphone. I need to be able to see the routes the vehicle has traveled each day for reporting and accountability of my drivers. I have Iphone 3GS.

@ball7272 No tracking with Navigon. Look into the MotionX GPS app, it may have what you are looking for, I use it for track log.

It's a Honda Civic 1.8 Sport i-Shift at first then a Toyota Corolla lastly a Mercedes A-class.
The FM-transmitter is a Belkin Tunecast Auto with clearscan
