Sometimes I wonder if it would've been better if the Age of Discovery never occurred. Perhaps it would have been better if the white man stayed in Europe, the black man in Africa, the Native American in the New World, the Asian in Asia, the Aborigine in Australia, ect. Withouht contact the friction that we see today would have been reduced. Slavery isn't over. Most of the Western goods that we enjoy are from 3rd world nations that exploit extremely cheap labor from people without a voice.

I agree with you that slavery isn't over, it just has become more sophisticated in that the needs of expansion have increased and this this he only reason for multicultural ideology. @underself How's what I've stated racist? The only reason that multiculturalism exist in Western nations is because non-whites, at one point in time, provided either free (ie slavery) or extremely cheap labor to enrich predominately white nations at the expense of everyone else. Think about it. If you look at the global economic North-South divide you will see that all of the developed nations are white nations (with the exception of Japan) and all of the developing nations are colored.

@Thedarksecret1 The idea I was referring to was the one about each race sticking to their place of origin. I don't actually think that's a horrible idea or necessarily racist, but I believe racists groups in the past have suggested the same thing although probably for different reasons. For a long time ever race did stick to their own territories and basically just conquered each other. Its no different now. The scale is just larger. It actually is just human nature and isn't about race.

@underself Yeah, but if you look at history the only race that refused to stick to their place of origin were white people. It was the white people, during the Age of Discovery, that ventured to other territories and resided their (i.e Australia, Africa, the New World, Asia, etc). It wasn't black people that moved voluntarily. Black people were stripped from their homeland and brought to American to work cheaply. I'm not trying to sound racist but history is history.

I don't have any evidence to back that claim of movement/exploration/conquerin­g. White people have also tortured each other as much if not more than other races. I am saying that I think something about them has the exploration bug in them. I think its without doubt one of the reasons for their 'advancement'. They explore and have bared little shame in exploiting anything from art to natural resources. I don't think white people are any more 'evil' than anyone else though. Perspective is what counts I suppose.
