I must agree with LAtexStretch. Im not an expert, but I been trying different hard top convertable and EOS seem to be the best in the category. Also "What car" magazine report VW EOS TSI and CR Diesel the best in this category: new from £18000! Not bad. Also consider the price and consuption. BMW is more expensive. The best 2 pieces hardtop Mercedes SL500: expensive toy with quality.

EOS has a good option, sunroof and convertible. BMW is more expensive ofcourse because of their 4 years maintance program plus some cool features. Overall, it depends what your budget is. If you can spend around 40K get BMW.

I'm not hot on these cars, or the Focus convert, becuase they only have 2 piece roofs, the windscreen is right in your face.

the EOS, The ASTRA and the BMW have more space from your face, because of the roof Design

Also the rear passenger space suffers on the Megane Focus and Peugeot because of the shorter roof design.

What is anyone elses opinion??

I have qualifications in Engineering and know exactly what I am talking about.

It is a FACT that there is less room in the rear on the Focus and Megane. Two piece folding roof forces the windscreen to have to extend FURTHER BACK to meet the LESSER SIZED ARCH.

The Astra, Eos and BMW have a Longer more curved structural Arch, and the retractable roofs reach further, allowing the windscreen to be further forward. THE END.

Yeah well.. I've driven quite some Caddilacs (not owned by me) but I have to say they're completely different.

They really do feel different when driving them. I donno.

I'd like to let you drive an X5 or an ML and then let you drive an Escalade. You'd know the difference too.

I hate big SUV cars .. so I don't like the X5 or ML that much either.. but... at least they feel like top quality.
