The Game is definitely "different" this season. Not saying it's bad, just different. I really liked the first new episode, but the second one was short on time and a good story.
It seems like a black version of Bold and the Beautiful this year, lol. Melanie, Derwin, Malik have good storylines but I can't stand Kelly.
I'm giving it a chance because they've been gone for two years and they need to get back on a roll.
Even though I want The Game to be an hour long, having Let's Stay Together after it is the best option for that show. Their ratings would take a dive if it was before The Game because that would mean people would have to turn to BET specifically to watch it. With it being after The Game, BET is hoping people just leave the TV on the same channel and viewers roll over to the new show.
The blurring in/out of the video is because of "Auto Focus". If there's an option to turn it off, that would fix the issue.
I never really like American Idol in this stage, I'm much more a fan of the actual competition. So I can't judge the judges quite yet. But I do think the show should have ended when Simon left. He's irreplaceable, and the show has been taking a dive for years. American Idol hit it's peak when Carrie Underwood won. The winners don't even make an impact like they used to

Makael, thats false about the audition going on too long. It's the same length as everyone from any other season. Compared to other seasons, these are some of the best auditioners in a long time. Usually, it's majority of the bad auditions. I'm a vocalist with an air. lol. I love JLo. JLo was afraid to say no, because she didn't want to crush dreams. ok, so I feel like I'm the ONLY person in the world who is bothered by this but when Tasha was apologizing to Kelly in the beginning of the episode and said something along the lines of "I guess it is just ANOTHER case of a black woman hating on a white woman," all kinds of red flags went up for me! I felt it was implying that it is something that occurs all the time, and was basically a diss to the sistas. Needless to say that is the last time i'll watch the show. That's all!

@EllJai5 But that was a joke when Tasha was said that. You could tell by how the line was delivered, and how all her other comments were praising Kelly. She was still afraid of Kelly and she was cracking jokes about how Black women are always oppressing white women just lighten Kelly's mood. She was saying it like Black women were always in a position of power over white women, when obviously, that is not true, thus making it funny.

I disagree with you both about American Idol. Particularly people who love singing enjoy hearing other singers. Just like how people watch The Real World with hope of being on there some day. Randy should be replaced for what valid reason? The Game has the same writers, Makael. The Game removed majority of the laughing track if you really payed attention. Are you kidding me? This is why they don't make shit for us. They set would look more realistic, if we continue to support.

Makael, thats false about the audition going on too long. It's the same length as everyone from any other season. Compared to other seasons, these are some of the best auditioners in a long time. Usually, it's majority of the bad auditions. I'm a vocalist with an air. lol. I love JLo. JLo was afraid to say no, because she didn't want to crush dreams. And no makael people don't watch the show to hear foolishness. People watch the show majority cause they dream through these people.

The intro, ooh chile. The Game was great, and I said the same thing Makael said that they should show Let's Stay Together before The Game. For me, showing it after brings down my mood lol.
Sidebar, all the people walking by in the background reminds me of extras on a sitcom walking through a store or something haha. & I got so used to the hour long videos that 20 minutes felt like 5 minutes to me, it went by so quick lol.

Im really sick of "American Idol", It's nice to give people a chance but the people who have won always seem to go downhill except Fantasia. "The Game" is pissin me off this season because of how short it is, they dont have enough time to really play on the story-line & I see what Mikael is saying about the scripted laughing & the acting. "Love That Girl" is dumb as fuck to me because it's so corny, the jokes arent even funny & it's a bunch of cliche shxt.
