@BEAUTIFULHAIR3 Well, consider that it costs exactly the same to print a one dollar note on the same piece of clothe and using the same ink, as it does to print a hundred dollar note. That right there should tell people about the value of money. It originally backed up REAL money like gold & silver, but now it's on life support and only backs up air. What you want to do is put AT LEAST 10% of your assets and/or income into gold or silver. You can buy it at any pawn shop, or dealership website.

@BEAUTIFULHAIR3 Oh crap...I said "pawn shop" didn't I? Don't go to THEM if you can help it. I should have said coin shop. I don't know of individual coin shops outside of Austin. Sorry. But there's a website I think you can buy gold-backed bonds, called SwissAmerica (dot) com. Unfortunately, I think they only take purchase minimums of $2000.

As I'm doing things, I just look up my local coin shop and buy 10 oz silver bars. The bigger the weight of the bar, the less you have to pay per ounce.

yyyyaaaaayyyy! i am still on week 8 as i started a bit late on the challenge, it's getting harde cos i'm saving x 1.5 (the 0.5 being my baby, so "he" puts in half the amount each week on top of my full amount). thanks for this!!! when does the black soap challenge begin?
