I often criticize OJ & John Riggins, saying he needed great blocking to be effective. Somebody else defending OJ & Riggins has said that every RB needs great blocking to be effective,except for Barry Sanders. Watching Bob Gresham #36 from 0:44-1:00, proves otherwise.
John Lohmeyer, scoring a TD on the fumble recovery here was an undersized 229 lb. DE who actually recovered from a broken neck in 1974 to play 3 more seasons with the team . (1975-77)

Yes it did. The Culp trade was the start of the 3-4 defense for the Oilers. In ;75 they lead the league in defense

Gosh, I wonder if when Chiefs Defensive Tackle Curly Culp went to Houston after 1973, if that really changed so much for both teams.
