I know it was a corny show, but it brought back out the kid in me that was a HUGE Knight Rider fan in the 80's. (Glazed face and all!!) Just wish it didn't get cut off the air so soon. I really enjoyed it. Especially toward the end when they got back into the root of "man and his car" concept and got rid of all the FBI bullshit, even though Carrie was hot!
I did go back to the originals and thought could they have closed his shirt with that hair hanging out of his chest?

@Zimpaz Blame GM motors for that one. GM didn't want to sponsor this time around, so Ford stepped up to the plate. However the voice of KITT had also been the voice of many GM commercials and didn't want to break his loyalty to his bread and butter. Originally William Daniels has been asked to be the voice instead of Val Kilmer.
Yes I know, it would've been the same effect of having Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime again in the new Transformers. But didn't happen that way.
@TWMAN454 William Daniels is still alive and kicking, last starring on Blades of Glory as Commissioner Ebbers and an episode of Boston Legal as Judge Milton Brady.
@Zimpaz Hoff's in the 2008 movie pilot to this series....but I think he only got a small role in being like a mentor telling the new Mike of his adventures he has had with one of the K.I.T.T. cars and that his turn to take over now and that sort of stuff
a dodge viper or a corvette would also be a nice kitt car.. i guess the mustang is also coll hmm
