in dbz when you use instant transmission you have to find and energy of someone and then lock on to it. then you teleport to them . it doesn't work for inanimate objects

@theunderdog102 A lot of people figure that but Funimation actually made a mistake in the translation or something. The speed of light doesn't come close to the sort of speed Instant Transmission uses, which is easy to gather from the distance they travel with it and the amount of time it takes to get there. It's called INSTANT Transmission for a reason lol.
@ZPRN17 meh if they ever considered the laws of physics they would burn up from the friction with their high speed or they would have some kind of warp thingy or worm hole in the GT series when they run around the galaxy instead they just use sublight engines or something, all i know is that goku said he was dematerializing and moving with the speed of light :D
@theunderdog102 By the end of the series everyone can move at the speed of light anyways. I'm positive it occurs instantly, for reasons already given. But yeah, you're right about the physics lol. Or maybe they would be just fine, as their strength+resilience gained through training would make it possible for them to move that fast. That was how I always figured anyways.
