Those 2 Grenadian runners are superb, no doubt, however, mek dem try step down to 200m and you will see.

Ashmeade is the world Junior 200m silver medallist...and McKensie is a better 200m runner than he is.

whats mckensie's best in the 400? and if your talking about championships the winner of that race kirani was the silver medalist last year at the world juniors with a time of 45.70 and he was only 15 the year before he was second at world youths 14 46.96 which is the fastest time ever run by a 14 year old.

hey aridep i think that kirani has gotten the advantage of being able to see rondell wich has mos definetly worked in his favour,the 200m is kinda different,i do believe that rondell runs a fater last hundred and kirani did not intenionally slow down, rondell just finished stronger and with that said if rondell gets the inside in the 400m i think he should win

That was a good race, i hope these guys are fit for the 4x400 today. Its sad that Kirani got a false start in the 200 heats though, i beleive he could have won. Anyway, the kid is only 16 and he'll still be under 20 next year.

yeh it would be different. but then again in intercol rondell had the inside lane on kirani in the 200 and when he couldnt catch him he gave up. this time he really wanted to keep his title but he couldnt. i think kirani kinda slowed after the bend and was supprised to see rondell still coming up on him. if kirani had pushed it after the bend we would have seen the world youths record 45.14 fall.
