I'm from montana and yes I've eaten one, I didn't know what it was a first gf said it was a finger stake, i think the testial festival takes place in June, I hope it goes ok for you and I hope it's all pleasant but I've heard rumors that there's alot of drugs go around at the festival with some really rough people... but i hope the rumor's wrong, have a pleasant trip though Montana and go see Glacier National Park if you get the chance or Yellowstone Park.... best of luck!

Bear is very tough, its good but its gotta be slow cooked to get tender. And the testicles are called rocky mountain oysters over here. If you ask someone where to get testicles, they may not respond the right way haha just call em rocky mountain oysters. I'm from Pennsylvania and my family has to survive off of the meat that we kill during the winter. There's alot good recipes for cooking critters out here :P

Locally...we have a Turkey Testicle Festival....usually as a fund raiser...

We eat alot of Strange things here , in Florida they eat alligators , in The Deep South they eat Snakes and Alligators , and crill . Near me its average foods , but its an In't Food Region so i can taste anything i want at anytime of the year. LOL There a little bit odd out west , i guess theres nothing to do out there!
