They starve, freeze, die of disease, are eaten alive, etc. Getting killed by a gun is, in a way, a mercy. And if it prevents overpopulation, provides food, or is entertaining, so much the better.

Of course, none of this makes sense if you're of the belief that the same standards apply to humans and animals, but you said that you ate meat.

I prefer to use Hevishot or hevimetal, but i use remington, winchester, federal(not black cloud), Kent, and Fiocchi. I use what I can to get the birds on the ground.

Even tho i provided proof your still going to say im full of it.

Truth is that even steel tears up barrels but if you use blackcloud with a wad stripping choke you increase your chances of that happening

@KingHonker steel is the only shot aloud for waterfowl hunting, led got banned, because they found out ducks would eat the bb's of the bottom of lakes and stuff, black cloud has always worked for me, i have not used any special chokes tho, just the regular full and modified choke tubes

anyone have tips for judging vertical distance to ducks it looks like theyre shooting ducks at like 75 yards might just be the camera but im not sure i shoot a modified or x-full high flier out of a benelli pump and id like to know how far i can comfortably shoot birds at a distace but i cant judge the distance too well

Personally i dont recomend skybusting at distances over 50, because you just educate the birds if you miss.

@sniper6636 The camera makes the ducks look a lot higher, but they are shooting them from pretty far. They are using Kicks Specialty Chokes so they keep a really tight pattern. That's also why you will see them blow ducks wings off so easily, they have a really tight pattern. If you're looking for a tighter pattern I would suggest getting a Pattern Master choke. They are very reliable and throw an amazing pattern.

to answer the question about black cloud ,,a friend uses them and we noticed the hulls all chewed up or missing the ends of them kinda scary if that piece would plug the barrel and you wouldn't know it

If you use blackcloud dont ever use a wadstripping choke. The wads can get lodged into the barrel and then your endanger your self and everyone around you

I own a beretta 391 urika and a brand new benelli super black eagle 2 so far my benelli hands up at least once every hunt but is a more comfortable gun than the beretta for me. The beretta has about 20,000 rounds through it and no porblems yet. When the new Beretta Xplore comes out in camo I'll try it out and see what it's got.
