@bluerat09 I've played the game, and thats not why the Locust attacked the humans. The Locust were losing the war with the Lambent, the Queen thought about asking the humans for help, but since the humans fought a war for 79-80 years, she thought that humans were destined to destroy. And, ive read the books about Gears of War also, thats where I got most of the info.

Sera is Earth.

And it is not a colonized planet. Its just Earth in a different universe. They don't have the technology to get into space, neither have they got the technology for Jet fighters.  They have satellites but no where near as advanced to do space travel.
