I'm so beyond relieved that he's ok. It scared me so bad when I found out. The same thing happened to my dad, but he had to have the same surgery twice because the surgeon was freakin' retarded and screwed up and took out the wrong rib.

poor guy! I'm glad he's up and feeling better. And he is 100% right..a pumlmonary embolism does have a high potential of being fatal. He is very lucky they got to the hospital in time!
