It is a fact that the U.S supported Khmer Rouge AGAINST Vietnam. Pol Pot was openly hostile to neighboring Vietnam, and launched frequent border raids. When the Vietnamese finally responded to the Khmer Rouge attacks, it took less than a year to liberate he country from Pol Pot's tyranny, then the U.S sponsored a Chinese invasion of Northern Vietnam.

The Khmer Rouge were backed by the Communist Vietnam and Communist China. His regime was plagued with Viet Spies/infiltrators. Many Vietnamese went undercover as Khmer Rouge. The Vietnamese infiltrators caused chaos and instability in the regime and it resulted in the killing of over 1 1/2 million people. Pol Pot will always be blamed for the Killing Field, People need to see that he was not the only one behind it, there were many different factors that lead to the devastation.

Thats not true. Yes the Notrh Vietnamese supported teh Khmer Rouge during the Vietnam War as they wanted to get rid of Lon Nol, but as Pol Pot came to power and later alligned himself with China in 1977, realations with Communist Vietnam grew sour as the Vietnamese were allies of the Soviet Union.
Anyway, if there ever was something like "human communism", the Soviets/Vietnamese actually did practice it in this case, while the Chinese/Cambodians clearly did not.

You are correct, relations grew sour between the Vietnamese and Pol Pot around the end of 1977/1978, by this time, it was evident that there were two sides to the Pol Pot Regime, the Pro-Chinese side and the Pro-Vietnam side. The Pro-Chinese who were the top officials were persecuting and cleansing their own that they felt were a threat. So the Pro-Vietnamese officers and soldiers started to flee to Vietnam to escape the cleansing, this is how January 7, 1979 came about.

At the time he was a very young politician he wanted rule over a country that was being overwhelmed by Vietnamese/U.S war. "The only ones who killed 20 people in the Stalin's USSR were the Nazis" The Nazi's actually killed 10-12 million in the Holocaust, which isn't quite 20 million.
Also, ever heard of the Gulag labor camps? Many were sent their for nothing really and worked to death or died from starvation. Learn your history before you try and defend that evil shit

Man, you are not too bright. President Carter alone admitted on national TV a number of times to supporting the Khmer Rouge (most recently on CNN's "Screaming Bloody Murder" less than a bloody year ago). Pay some damned attention instead of trying to rewrite history to try to make yourself feel special.

Pol Pot did not turn against Vietnamese until 1977. He was armed and supported by China, but also USRR and North Vietnam.
