@deathmetalmaniac1 When I agreed to help Tony with the 30,000 campaign, I took it very seriously (while still having some fun with it). This is not a normal every day video. But while Tony was having to focus on keeping the administration of this campaign done, my goal was to keep everyone up to date and motivated.
"The Tyrannic Wars are the collective conflicts ignited by the Tyranid race's sudden incursion on our galaxy, beginning around 745.M41 by the Imperial Date System. "
In the year 30,000 Humanity didn't know about the tyranids yet. We only discovered them around 745.M41
they made their first incursion into our galaxy at 745.m41, before that all we knew of were Genersteelers on the planet Ygmarl which were believed to be an indigenous lifeform. (Per codex Tyranids 2nd ed) and even these were long after the crusade. Though i will give you creative license on it and call it good, I didn't intend to be offensive just precise and acurate.
There used to be an online table top approximation of Warhammer 40K called Vassal 40K. That's what Neuicon and I played this game on. As far as the video, I used Pinacle Studio 12 to edit the images together into the video.
Everyone has their own reasons to think so, for instance ask yourself why you came out and watched. And then instead of leaving, spent more time on this video leaving a comment. But your own personal reason for finding this entertaining is something that you alone can know for certain. I was just posting this to let Tony know how my 30K campaign mission went.
Interesting name for the tactic hahahaha. This is an interesting way for a report, and the HD worked out quite well. If you really wanted to go over the top, you could detail each action like in most battle reports, but in the style of White Dwarf. "From the freshly formed crater, disembarked a mighty dreadnaught, facing the grotesque xeno swarm. It did not know fear, it only knew destruction- etc." But that would take a long time. In conclusion I enjoyed the use of history in this battle! :)
Thanks for the post!!! This battle report is part of the Warhammer 30K campaign. One of the reasons that I added so much fluff for this battle report.
Vassal40K is the program that allows you to play 40K games online by providing the map and images. There are no rules for playing the game, you must have codex and rule books, etc. Video was edited using Pinnacle Studio 12.

You have an error here...
"The Tyrannic Wars are the collective conflicts ignited by the Tyranid race's sudden incursion on our galaxy, beginning around 745.M41 by the Imperial Date System. "

Error/Creative licensing? There's nothing to say that the Tyranid were not incorrectly identified before 745.M41.
