@kauach Ah, system shock... to me bioshock can't even touch this gem :) System shock was just more... well, hardcore haha ^^ Bioshock was very easy and as such didn't scare me the way system shock often did. Shame how many people tend to overlook that classic :(

Perfect dark was way better, it took everything that made goldeneye great and improved on it, created a great storyline and amazing multiplayer, much improved graphics, characters talker, damn there is so much I could say about perfect dark but damn for those days you couldnt get any better.

Fuck that dude. I'll admit, Perfect Dark was great, but no game ever beat Goldeneye as a 1st person shooter on the N64. This game was like my drug back then. Always played it.

Goldeneye was revolutiory but perfect dark was it perfected. The story was deeper the levels way bigger, more detail and loads of secrets. I spent countless hours trying to find the hidden cheese on every perfect dark level. And the muliplayer was god like on PD. Im sorry but perfect dark is way better if you forget date of release.

Where did I say that goldeneye isn't that great? I loved goldeneye, it had a unique charm and was great when it came out, but then when the technology had advanced and they made perfect dark, it was like goldeneye but better. They took all the holes from goldeneye and improved from what they had learned. And even a heap of the multiplayer levels from goldeneye are in perfect dark. Its like comparing halo 1 to halo 3 [even tho the halo series sucks ass].

One of the funniest things to do was turn on either slow or fast mode then watch the ending cutscene, showing Bond either leaping onto the helicopter and shooting off into the sky or running for it after it had already left!

For me, Goldeneye does what Most First-Person-Shooters don't, they make you actually think, it has as good of a single player as it does a multiplayer, and they give you plenty of options. That's why it's better than COD4 and Gaylo 3

Well whatever, but to me, Gaylo's Single Player gets insanely boring, really fast, the Multiplayer is awesome, but that's not usually the reason I play games. And I've only just recently played Goldeneye and I love it, I played Halo almost 6 months before playing Goldeneye. I'm not much of a fanboy for it either, the only series I'd consider myself a fanboy of is the Mario and Zelda Series.

Arhg. Halo was and is SUCCSESFULL. Not really revolucionary, unless you count the health system which I'm sure someone probably did before. To date Halo is a game with poor story, singleplayer, and weapons. Nice multiplayer, beaten horribly by Smash Bros, Golden Eye, and (most of all) Perfect Dark

Yeah, I've heard a lot of good about Bioshock and played a little less than an hour of it. It failed to impress me during that time though, so I have concentrated on other games. I might delve into it later.
