Koité's vocal style is intimate and relaxed, emphasizing calm, moody singing rather than operatic technical prowess. Members of Bamada play talking drum, guitar, bass, drum set, harmonica, violin, calabasa, and kora. Koité composes and arranges all songs, singing in English, French, and Bambara. wikipedia
i have 2 of his cd's and love them both...it puts me almost in a trance...not a good idea when driving, but it keeps me from getting angry at poor drivers :)
yes it is and since I am French I will translate for you:at the beginning he says: scuze me stop a second, there is a trio a kouarket a guy who is from Belgium who plays. You really need the C.D only for that music and it is really good. They play in and I have so much common points with him that if he play in my music without knowing the partition he will be fantastic and you really need to listen to that song because they did great.
Sounds just like the concert I saw in ny, highline ballroom

Thanks for the heads up about the title. It is in fact N'teri as the video displays. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Songtitle is N'teri. What you see in the beginning of the the video is correct, what you see as title of the video above isn't.
