this game mekes you feel like you're the protagonist of it's many twists,just as if you were right there with max and monica fighting an awsome and magical adventure... when i first finished the game i felt like crying because i didn't want to belive it was over after such a long time of wasting my time sitting in front of a TV screen:'(

Apart from rogue galaxy, i have never seen a game as good as this one and i hope lvl 5 comes up with a sequel to one of these games.

This is an awesome game :'( And it's a very epic music.

I couldn't play through this game, but I really want to finish it one day, because this game is so epic and the gameplay is awesome too... A really interesting and epic game, almost an art.

Heres how I can tell this game is special in such a way its almost scary:

I have beaten this game 6 or 7, maybe even 8 times in the past year, Everytime I beat the final boss (dark Element) I cry, the credits make me sob... by the end im drenched.

75% of the people I ask say they have cried over it.

Like this if this game has Sentimental value to you, and if your life would be different without it.... Jeez i sound like a nerd!

I just love Dark Cloud 2's story! It makes you feel so warm inside, you really feel like you're a part of the adventure when you play the game.

@ukno918 Yeah. It's what's missing in a lot of the new RPGs. They don't have that nostalgic feel anymore, where you feel like a child. The one I'm playing right now that feels like it is Eternal Sonata, and Resonance of Fate.

@sori010 Ridepod FTW, zooms across the dungeons. You can fast travel via world map if you want to go from town to town.

@1891may4 yeah but that buggy is really annoying to steer so is the propellers, that's what I mean tho, if the characters went faster that is the only thing that would make it better; oh and the monsters like the Drake go fast

Yeah, although Square-Enix is my favourite RPG company, Level-5 has a lot more content. Well, more interesting side quests, at least. Fishing was actually fun in this game, and so was that Insectron in Rogue Galaxy, haha. Sorta...

This is probably the best RPG for the PS2. A lot of content also. Especially liked fishing. Voice acting was great, storyline had you immersed with the characters. The ending for chapter 3 was my favourite one. Sage Crest story had a good song.
