In the movie "The Sting" there are a LOT of simularities from Slims book Trick Baby, also published in the 70's.

PIMP is one of the best novels ever written. I've read a lot of books and that novel is the one I can read over and over again. It will be a matter of time before it's made into a movie (i'm surprised it's not already!) I just hope they don't fuck it up by giving it to a hack director and casting someone obvious as Iceberg Slim.

The movie rights have just been bought up to Pimp and Mama Black Widow. So they could be out anytime in the next few years. Also Ice-T is producing a documentary of Iceberg right now. All this info is all from ICEBERG SLIM THE LOST INTERVIEWS WITH THE PIMP a new book I just read.
